"Staff was very attentive. There was a good bit of construction being done around the hotel that took away a bit from the atmosphere, but the room was quite large. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The location was pretty good except for the construction. It's a bit of a walk from the "main drag" on the other side of the marina, but not horrible. "Overall, my stay was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the room was spacious with a large, clean bathroom. Good value for money. However, the bed sheets weren’t changed during my stay despite what was mentioned in the description, and there was no toaster or iron. The window couldn’t be opened, so the room felt a bit dark in the mornings. Apart from these small issues, everything else was fine and comfortable."

Luckily I stayed here only for two nights; they put on a condo, with no lift, nobody to help with our heavy suitcase.......at second floor! At first we could immediately appreciate the drain pipes of the shower and bathroom: we loved having a shower in our own water because it could not be drained........... "Very charming little hotel! The grounds are well kept and is very clean. Breakfast has a lot of selection and is very good. Close to old town and beaches( 10 min) the room was smaller and a bit dated, bed was comfortable and aircon worked great. Overall a great place to stay!"

"This is a great place. The rooms were clean, the neighborhood quiet but walking distance to the walled city and the historical downtown. Having breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea was delightful. The staff was fantastic. Rosa and her colleague went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable. I recommend Sensations Guesthouse to anyone looking for a great stay in Lagos. "
