We arrived late after midnight on our first night. There was nowhere to pull up with our car and parking was full. We had to put our hazards on and quickly unload and then drive around the streets to find parking. Once we checked in and got to our room, we noticed were only given two shower towels despite it being a triple room with three occupants. We then had to go to reception to request a towel at 1am. Once we got into our room and settled in more we noticed how dirty it was. We saw the shower curtain covered in mold, an incredibly dusty bathroom vent fan (hazard), and to top it off a hot pink fake nail by the bedside table. In the morning we went to reception to advise them on the state of the room, and the girl informed us she could not do anything but to return later on once her manager was in and see if we could change rooms. Later on we met the manager and they were not very helpful just said we were full and nothing could be done. They could have offered to change the curtain and do a better clean or to compensate us in some other way but nothing was offered unfortunately.
The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and another gentleman we spoke to while checking out was helpful too, as well as the restaurant staff. We loved our stay in Palma but unfortunately the hotel was a let down and for the price we paid it was upsetting. Hopefully this can be taken as constructive criticism to improve in the future for other guests. Thank you!
