This vacation home rental captures the magic of Southern California glamour. The mountain views are simply spectacular. The backyard itself is like a slice of heaven… private, spacious and well-planned. The free-form inground pool and spa is surrounded by chaise lounges, shade umbrellas, an outdoor living room, a covered dining pavilion and a gas barbecue. Towering Palm Trees dot the property - adding to the resort feel - and there is a no-maintenance synthetic lawn area that is great for kids and small breed dogs. Plus there is a fire feature that’s perfect for spending long evenings under the stars.

The well stocked center island kitchen is a chef’s dream! Perfect for group meal prep. The interior dining table easily seats 10 and the huge sectional sofa is so very comfortable (it even pulls out to accommodate the occasional overflow guest or two children. All along the back of the house there are movable walls of glass that reveal the gorgeous resort-style pool yard.

SLEEPING QUARTERS
All of the bedrooms feature comfortable hotel-quality king sized mattresses, ample storage, flat screen televisions and access to the pool yard.The master bedroom has en suite bath, while the two guest rooms share easy access to the hall bath.

THE LOCATION
Located on a calm residential street in the Gene Autry Neighborhood of Palm Springs - named for the "Singing Cowboy" Gene Autry who was an American singer, songwriter, actor, musician, and rodeo performer who gained fame largely by singing in a crooning style on radio, in films, and on television for more than three decades beginning in the early 1930s. After appearing in more than 90 films, and hosting The Gene Autry Show television series, the famous Crooner moved to Palm Springs where he enjoyed living life in the sunshine among his celebrity friends . Autry is still remembered for his Christmas holiday songs, most especially his biggest hit "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer" as well as "Frosty the Snowman", "Here Comes Santa Claus", and "Up on the House Top."
