Palm Desert Retreat w/Fantastic View of Golf Course, Lakes and Mountains - 3 Bed

Come play and enjoy the desert while staying in the private, 24 hour guard gated community of Palm Valley Country Club located in Palm Desert. What do you want to do: golf, swim, tennis, pickle-ball, shopping, restaurants, hiking, biking, Coachella, photography, water parks, zoo, so much to do, you will want to come again and again.

The patio is South facing and has views of the golf course lakes and mountains. The master has the same beautiful views as the back patio and it's own balcony. There is a two car garage and a remote with direct access to the condo and an inside laundry room.

Inside the condo you will find all 3 bedrooms upstairs along with two full bathrooms as well. In the lower living area is the kitchen, dining room, den, powder room and laundry facilities.

There are numerous pools (heated year round ) and spas in this community and there are several just short walk from our back patio.

Please note this property does not include tennis or golf as the course and courts require a private membership. The course is part of the American Golf Association and reciprocal golf privileges are allowed depending on the level of your membership (inquire at the pro-shop). There are numerous public golf courses and public tennis courts in Palm Desert. Also, this condo is close to the train and there can be occasional noise (no horns) so we do advise any light sleepers to consider renting another unit.

Come stay where the weather is great, the views are endless and activities are too numerous to list them all.

No smoking or pets are allowed.

Very nice place on the golf course, had a small issue with a water leak. Called the host and he responded immediately and gave us a partial refund. I highly recommend this place and we will be returning in the future.

a handyman should be hired to go through this property. there are a bunch of minor things that need attention but none are of a serious manor. I stayed here in 2024 as well. example, the place could use new blinds, they work but have aged. the entrance lock (keypad) is getting a little old, it works but a new pad would be nice. the faucets in the master bedroom / bathroom need new hardware or replace them.. they work but are not in good shape (I did not check the other bathroom faucets). lots of little things like this. I would stay here again. I just thought you might like to have this information, regards Randall J

Great Location and Owner, But Needs Updating

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Palm Valley 2/12-3/5/25. The unit is in a wonderful location, with a beautiful view of the PV Challenge course, and easy walking distance to four pool/hot tub facilities and the main clubhouse and large pool. The country club property is beautiful and provides excellent walking opportunities. Palm Valley CC is a great location from which to explore sites and restaurants in Palm Desert/Palm Springs and the surrounding area.However, I am unable to give the rental unit five stars, as it is in need of upgrading/remodeling, both in interior infrastructure and furnishing. First, the positives: great location; communication with owner Dan was excellent and he addressed a few immediate concerns very quickly; new flooring is very nice; newer appliances - refrigerator, microwave, toaster and hot pot - work well and are attractive (though older appliances are still in the unit); the patio area is beautiful; tenant access to the garage is a real plus; the master bedroom bed is very comfortable; the laundry facilities and supplies are more than adequate; the number and quality of the bath towels and beach towels is excellent.Second, the only negative: The unit was generally clean, but the age and condition of the cabinets, carpets, sliding doors, furniture and countertops detracted from a truly clean feel. A significant remodel is warranted, and would turn this unit into a real gem.

Palm Valley Vacation

Our family of 5 (adults) stayed for 7 nights in Dec. There is plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we loved the short walk to a couple different pools/hottubs. The location is beautiful, feels very safe being in a gated community. They only small issue is that you hear the train as noted by the owner in the listing, but we still slept well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great family vacation.

We wanted a place that could accommodate 6 adults. This place is spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of seating and the beds are very comfortable. This unit is close to 3 pools that can be easily accessed via the patio. According to Dan the manager, there’s no issue walking along or across the golf course, as long as you watch for golfers. There’s also a larger community pool at the clubhouse. There is a train that passes nearby multiple times a day but it never bothered us. Dan is very attentive and responds to messages quickly. Check in and out was very easy with a code for both the front door and garage. The complex itself is very beautiful. One of the nicest I’ve ever seen. It’s very well taken are of. The unit is a bit dated but it’s clean and has everything you need. Bang for buck, I would definitely recommend it. We would definitely stay here again.

Description and photos are accurate for this condo. It has not been updated but it was clean and ready for us. The country club landscape is beautiful and relaxing. Was able to get out for a nice walk around the community. Right outside the front is the train tracks so you do hear the train quite often. The owners were up front about this and included it in the description.

Lovely views

Overall very happy with our recent stay here. Photos are accurate. Some features were dated (oven/stove, kitchen counters/cupboards, bathroom fixtures, bedroom furniture) but all workable. Couple things made us go 'huh?' microwave built in above stove (old model) then a separate newer microwave on the counter? In main bedroom, large tv is on a drawer unit directly in front of the mirror? The heating/ac unit turning on in the middle of the night, and heating to the point of waking us up. The trains could very much be heard as warned. Easy access to pools. Wonderful views. Was a nice place to base ourselves as we explored the area.

Desert fun

We were in Palm Desert for a family reunion and my sister’s birthday party. We have 2 condos here but needed a third to accommodate all of us. This condo was the perfect solution for us, our son and his family. The bedrooms are all upstairs so a consideration if you have difficulty with that. The owners communicated very well. They even sent a map of the heated pools in the complex as not all were being heated. This was very helpful! There were no issues picking up our pass at the gate when we arrived, even though it was late ( it is a gated community). The kitchen was well stocked. Decor and appliances are dated but everything worked perfectly. Beds, pillows, towels, water temp were all perfect and SO comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if extra space is needed.
