Villa Palmeras is located in Tahquitz River Estates, an enclave of Hollywood actors, political figures and industrialists since the 1920's.

Behind its walled entry and past the 70-year old fountain is the very private Villa; a Modern Mediterranean style home on one-third acre. Front and rear gardens feature an unrivaled view of the San Jacinto Mountains. The new pebble tek pool and spa are salt water and situated under towering fan palms, affording a delightful setting for sun-drenched lounging. Barbecue in the evening under lighted palms and dine under the covered patio. Have a fun game of ping pong or cornhole under the side covered patio as well!

Come inside to the granite-countered chef's kitchen; make the difficult decision to dine out on the town or to enjoy the Villa's indoor or outdoor dining tables. Retire to the living/family room. Light a fire, read a book or switch on the 65 in TV with theater sound. Watch a moving or your favorite TV show.

The primary bedroom/bath suite with its private pool-side entrance is decorator appointed with a King size bed and 60 inch TV. Two additional decorator bedrooms with separate patios feature queen size beds and flat screen TVs. Amenities include gas BBQ Island, misting system, high speed and wireless internet, washer/dryer and much much more.

Refundable Utility Deposit

An amazing place!

We loved everything about this place! A beautiful house, well-maintained, in a quiet street, yet close to stores, restaurants, and more. The kitchen, and the rest of the house, had everything we needed. Overall we had a great time, and will be happy to be back in the future.

House great, but maintenance is challenging

The house was everything we expected. Unfortunately, the light on the grill was shocking me. Called maintenance and they were going to take care of it. Called the following day to see what was done, they said nothing was found. They sent another person over . He put a tester on the light and immediately registered 15 amps. Then fixed the problem. Later during our stay, the sewer system backed up. Called the non emergency after hours maintenance number and the response I got was "no one is available to answer your call." This occurred over a 2 1/2 hour period starting at 6:30 am. It was late afternoon before all was fixed. As I said, the house was wonderful. Maintenance - somewhat suspect. But all problems were addressed.

Summer vacation

Beautiful home and outdoor pool. Very relaxing and would highly recommend. We brought our grandchildren with us for a week and had the most wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your home with us . Made some great memory’s.

Gorgeous home!

Perfect stay for children to enjoy the pool. Short drive to downtown for ice cream and other restaurants. Three stars for check-in do to maintenance crew working on a broken bed frame, which took about an hour. Repair was not sturdy enough to hold, and ultimately broke during our stay. Thought it was an earthquake.

Peaceful place with very nice outdoors

The property is very well described in the listing, of course some images are a bit photo-shopped but generally you will not be disappointed at arrival. Very nice and spacious living room, nice kitchen with a great gas stove (a huge surprise considering that in the US kitchens look like from the 60s). Bedrooms are a bit small but with comfortable beds. Very basic bathrooms, the 60s look ;) The outside is great with a large pool and jacuzzi, gas bbq and a big lawn. Generally we were very satisfied with the stay and the property itself.

LOVED the property

The house is exactly what it looks like! We truly relaxed all weekend. This home is equipped with everything you could think of and more. Our only issues were the alarm and keys - tried to set the alarm but it didn't work right and they gave you 6 or so keys and none worked for the front door. We cannot wait to pick our next long weekend to reserve this again!

Private, lush and immaculate!

Great place for my family to spend the weekend together! Looks exactly as the photos show. Yard is great for dogs but not small children as the pool is not enclosed. A relaxing retreat away.
