"The ocean views were stunning. It is a beautiful location, very quiet at the top of a hill overlooking Brookings OR and the Pacific Ocean including some local “haystacks”. Although it’s not a full kitchen we were able to cook breakfast, which is important to us. The owners were easy to communicate with, entering the property was easy. The bed was the most comfortable mattress we have had on our travels. Wonderful location."

"I would not recommend as this place require before 5PM check in if you miss it they would not answer you call.I had very bad experience where I drove from portland and reached at 5.30 PM. I found out office close at 5PM which they have never mentioned in details. I called them multiple times and no response. I had to figure out with expedia to find new hotel for my accomodation for that day."

"Ever walk into a place and get the ICK? Check in was easy and there was a very cute cat in the office, but when we entered the hotel room we immediately began to look for other accomodations. It gave very creepy vibes all over. We left promptly to stay at the beachfront inn down the way. Take my advice and don't do it."

Beach location is a huge plus, new owner is installing upgrades to improve the customer experience. Good parking. Rooms are showing their age and signs of nostalgia, but simple, clean and cozy.
