This charming bright and cheery home on the waters edge and steps to a sandy beach that features three ocean view bedrooms all upstairs and two full baths, one on each floor. The spacious master suite features panoramic views, a queen bed, TV and private balcony perfect for relaxing and breathing in the fresh ocean air.
For the gourmet cook there is a modern fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, new stainless steel appliances and all the conveniences of home. Enjoy cooking and dining while watching seals suntan, otters frolicking and waves crashing upon the rocks or nestle by a warm fire in the cozy fireplace.
However, if you prefer excitement a wealth of activities abound! Choose from numerous championship golf courses, whale watching, the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium, hiking, kayaking, surfing, scuba diving, boating, bicycling, fishing, wine tasting, gallery gazing, shopping, fine dining, live theater and museums to name a few.
This sparkling home is nestled between Monterey and Carmel on the Pacific Grove waterfront area known as the 'Pink Carpet' because during the late spring months the coast becomes a bright purple-pink mass when all the iceplant is in bloom.

My nephew and his wife came to visit from St. Louis, MO and we had a superb time. The facility was comfortable and spacious. Pacific Grove is full of wonderful shops, and the restaurants were awesome. I had the room with the front balcony and loved sitting out in the morning with a cup of hot tea and enjoyed the sunset in the evening.

The house was very clean with all supplies and grocery necessities. Did not realize how busy the blvd was in front but very pretty views out the large picture window and great breeze thru the front door and master balcony. Parking is a bit dicey in front.

This is the funnest, most beautiful place and area that I have ever stayed at. Check-in was easy, and had everything we wanted and needed. Was great in every way. We walked to Cannery Row every day. The coast is so beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the location...the beautiful views of the ocean, the ocean air and nature's beauty. We were right across the street from the walking trails and beach front and we enjoyed walking, exploring, rock climbing and people/wildlife watching. The house gave us a great opportunity to rest and make special memories (cooking special meals and dining as well as playing games, watching movies, watching the fishing boats at night, listenng to the sounds of the ocean and wildlife) with our family!

The view is what you paid for. There is no deck or patio, just a small balcony. Owner did not provide how to get into property until after I call Vrbo. Arrival time changed from 4p to 4:30. Propane grill (now no longer on property description) did not exist, affecting meal plans. Master bedroom shades do not cover windows completely. We also discovered ants in the property. There are only 5 chairs for dining table. One couch and a lounge chair are seating for 4. Maybe better for a couple with 2 kids.

Long time friends enjoying some R&R together!

Perfect location in Pacific Grove to enjoy the beach and hiking trails. Cute little "beach cottage" and beds, towels and bedding were comfy. We did not use the kitchen other than for breakfast but it was adequate for our needs. Parking was very easy on the street except for the weekend so it was very nice to have the parking spaces included as well.

Perfect place near Otter Cove

My family had an amazing time staying at the Otter Cove beach house! It had beautiful views from all vantage points, and was very nice / upgraded inside the home. It was in the perfect location, a short walk to the aquarium but also next to endless peaceful / quiet beach trails with so much sea life in view (otters, seals, etc).

Location is What Makes This Property

The view and location are everything the listing represents and we loved that aspect. The home itself and difficulty reaching host were less than wonderful. Main issues were bedroom curtains don't cover windows at all, so no sleeping past sunrise if you need a dark room. Mold on the downstairs shower curtain. Host pretty much did not respond to questions through the app - had to call them directly. In looking at other guests' feedback, these are ongoing issues, and there are more. We'll definitely look for a different house on our next trip to PG.

This is our third stay at this beautiful location. Right by the water and close to all the restaurants and beaches. We took long walks each morning and evening and there was plenty of room for family game night. Looking forward to or next stay

Perfect little place

Well located—A little smaller and less modern than expected

The location is excellent. We’ve been going to the Monterey Peninsula for years and this is fairly quiet location with stunning views and fantastic walks just outside the door. For the price, we expected a more updated decor and appliances. We also experienced a number of brownouts during our stay which may have been caused by windy weather conditions in the area or may de due to the age of the house and wiring.The house was less roomy than the photos led us to believe.
