The Sand Bucket Cottage is the best equipped retreat for the money in Pacific Beach.

Our cottage features that our competitors do not have such as; hardwood floors, cozy gas fireplace, a full second bathroom with a HDTV with integrated DVD and complementary Unlimited Wi-Fi, Roku player, Hulu, Peacock, HBOMax, Netflix & Disney, FreeVee, Pluto; a gas BBQ, washer dryer, fire pit and all the comforts of home!

Others have sought to imitate us, but no-one can match the combination of features, quality and price.

Only 1/4 mile to expansive sandy beaches on the most picturesque part of the Washington coast. Sleeps up to 8 people, great for families, with a focus on kid friendly activities with many toys and games.

The cottage features two bedrooms, the master has an attached private bathroom and it's own deck to enjoy the morning sun. The over sized front BBQ deck faces west, relax while enjoying the sunset. The kitchen is fully stocked and provides all utensils and gadgets to make your stay comfortable, ample linens and towels are provided for your stay.

A short stroll into the town of Pacific Beach, where you can enjoy an espresso while you browse the local gift stores. The town is nestled next to the beach which provides wonderful opportunities to enjoy the majesty of the Pacific Ocean.

We specialize in being both a family friendly and pet friendly location. To make your stay as easy as possible if you have young children we have made available many things you would need for small children, including a pack and play, high chair, small chair for 2 - 5 year olds, numerous toys and boards games for all ages. A full compliment of cable & streaming channels to help for those downtime moments.

We also provide dog towels and an outdoor hose to help clean your dog. For the chefs amongst you, the kitchen is fully stocked for your needs, including a griddle and food processor as well as some spices and olive oil. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided for you to enjoy during your stay.

We had an amazing stay at the Sand Bucket cottage! It was the perfect comfy, cozy home to come back to after a day at the beach with our 3 kids and 2 dogs! The location was great, with close proximity to beach access. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything that we needed for our relaxing getaway, including board games & cards that we had a blast playing! Having a washer and dryer was definitely appreciated. We enjoyed both decks. The deck in the back was nice for soaking up the morning sunshine while having a cup of coffee and the fenced front deck was private and spacious and made for a great spot to relax with our dogs while keeping them contained. Colleen was awesome!!! From the moment we booked our stay she was super friendly and inviting. She was quick to respond to all our messages and questions. We will definitely be booking another stay at the Sand Bucket cottage soon and referring our family and friends as well! Thank you Collen for sharing your cottage with us!

Awesome place! Had everything we needed for the kids. One minute drive to the beach was so nice. Also so close to seabrook, we went there for dinner one night. Definitely recommend this place.

Loved the location

We loved the location!!! This was a nice place but the description of the 2nd bedroom was inaccurate. When we tried to pull out the mattress under the bed it was covered with pet hair and dirt. Made a bed on the floor for third child. Too many chairs in the dining room. It was hard to maneuver. Cleaning lady was still cleaning when we arrived and wasn't very happy about us being there so we left and then came back. The outdoor furniture was so old and dirty that we chose not to use the outdoor patios at all. We were afraid they would break or we would get slivers. Kitchen is well stocked.

2 teens and a big dog!

The Sand Bucket house was a real treat. The place was clean, bright inside and out, just as described. Very quiet neighborhood, and just a couple minutes to the beach! (I loved that part) Being my first vrbo, I messaged the property manager a couple times and she was prompt in responding back. I was a bit nervous traveling with 2 teenagers and a full sized German Shepherd, but everything turned out great! We took a drive to lake Quinault Lodge for lunch, and with so many options of things to see in the area, I’d definitely recommend and consider the Sand bucket for my next beach stay!

Convenient, neat, and family friendly cottage!

Stayed here with spouse, 2 year old and infant for spring razor clam dig. This cottage was tidy and well stocked with toys and books for kids, as well as utensils and amenities in the kitchen. Host was very quick to communicate. great experience and would book again!

The Sand Bucket is great!

We loved the Sand Bucket. It was just a couple minute drive to Pacific Beach State Park and the ocean, which is exactly what we wanted. The property was just as described, with the exception of the steps going into and out of the kitchen/dining room. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nice and big with plenty of room for both of us to be making meals. Having a second bedroom also worked well for us, as we could use the second bedroom for things like suitcases. Having the two bathrooms was also useful. Colleen was wonderful to communicate with. Messages were promptly and clearly answered. Our only issue with our stay was that there were two issues that, while not major, it would have been nice to have been informed of those issues before checking in.

Lovely cottage

We were 3 grandmas and our 20 month old granddaughter staying in the lovely Sandbucket cottage. It was perfect Washington weather-a bit of rain, a bit of sun, and just enough wind to fly kites! Thank you, Colleen, for providing the perfect place to enjoy 4 days in Pacific Beach!

Good Location

The property was close to the places that we wanted to visit; the beach was beautiful. It was quiet and comfortable. Colleen was responsive and helped us solve issues. Cell coverage is very limited in this whole area, so it’s good to be aware.

Family Trip

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped for cooking. Everything was clean and very well maintained. My kids and husband spent a lot of time at the bar down the street. People were very friendly. The shop that had everything you could ever want along with a radio station inside was a hit. My husband got to sign the ceiling. Being close to Seabrook was fun since we had friends staying there..

Find your peace.

Find your piece at this beachy getaway. Pacific Beach is a slow moving beach town, but something about the location of this house provides even more peace. 3 minute drive from town/beach. Has everything anyone might need on vacation, just bring groceries and maybe pick up some Oysters from Lytles to grill up on the deck. They have a fully stocked kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. We felt at home, at ease, and were able to relax. I cannot wait to book a stay here in the future, I might even bring my kids (although that sounds less peaceful to me;)).
