Step back in time and enjoy this little town pasted by time!! The Kilgour School was formed in 1869. The building was located about 4 miles southwest of Oskaloosa and the the corner of 78th and Lincoln. It was moved to Oskaloosa in 1950 and became part of the elementary grade school complex (Grades 1-4), along with Plum Grove, Tibbott, and lumber from Lone Tree Schools. The combined Kilgour/Plum Grove building was relocated to Old Jefferson Town in 1975. Presently it houses the Jefferson Co. Genealogical Society Resource Center (Library).

Lots of wonderful things about this hotel and would have loved to give a 5, but shower was horrible. Rain shower with open door concept. The water never got very warm, it trickled and was freezing!
