Within walking distance to famous Nauset Beach, this cute Cape Cod beach house will serve as a great home base for you while discovering all of what the Cape has to offer. Return from a day at the beach, take an outdoor shower, and throw some burgers on the grill for a nice meal outside on the private deck. Take a stroll down to Smitty's after dinner for some delicious homemade ice cream, and return back to relax comfortably with the family in the air conditioned cottage. Such an amazing location, with all the amenities you will need, make this rental the ideal choice for your next Cape Cod vacation!

Feels like a hug!

Most adorable and cozy rental we could ever imagine. This small, but very adequate cottage is very clean, very thoughtfully outfitted, a wonderful walk to the best beach, and a short drive to great food. It is decorated with beach, treasures, and adorable sentiments throughout. A few vintage reminders, stand next to modern accommodations, such as a an image of QR codes linking any guest to information about beach, access, parking stickers, local activities, etc. If you know and love the cape, this will connect you once again. If you don’t, you will after staying here. This cottage most felt like a big warm hug.

Orleans Cape house

We had a great time staying here. The location is perfect. The house was very clean. A few things to mention. The queen size bed was very uncomfortable and old. I would have just taken half a star off for that. This place would be perfect if the bed was replaced. Also, the cold water to the outdoor shower did not work. It was chilly so that didn’t matter but in the middle of summer….. Overall we were very happy, would recommend to everyone especially if the bed was updated. Thank you!!!

Great location

Walking distance to beach. Quiet neighborhood. Unit number not present on front of house so at first unable to verify unit as online photos are of side yard. Overall a nice place. Kitchen fully equipped. We did miss having a dishwasher. Del Mar Properties very responsive and helpful. I especially liked the clear check in and check out instructions. Would definitely book with Del Mar again.

All about the location

This home is .6 miles from Nauset Beach, which is great. The rental team agents were awesome. The home was very clean. Unfortunately, there isn’t a single comfortable piece of furniture in the home. In addition, the home interior is very dated, worn, and requires a dehumidifier to be run continuously. Not bad if everyday is a beach day, and you can sleep on any bed, but for those rainy days and longer staying inside was far from ideal.

Home was as advertised. Very convenient location. The only drawback was that the walk to the beach is along a busy road, but that has nothing to do with the house itself.

Beautiful Orleans, and Nauset Beach

My wife and I celebrated our 44th Wedding Anniversary at the Cape. The weather was great and very hot for early June. The split unit air conditioning failed on our second day...while Delmar was responsive in getting small window unit in place the next day, just a disappointment that we had to deal with a repair in the middle of our vacation . The outside showers was in very bad condition.

Cozy Cape Getaway

Very typical old style Cape Cod cottage. Just like we used to rent when we were kids. The landscaped property was beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet. And, the cottage is very close to Nauset Beach. Quick access to routes #6 and #28, make it very easy to travel out to P-town, or down to Hyannis.

Great alternative to a motel

This rental was for a short getaway for my husband and me. We wanted to avoid personal contact as much as possible due to the pandemic. This worked out great. Check-in was contact-less (using a code to unlock the door). This simple bungalow had plenty of room for the two of us. There was a one room open concept for the living area and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, full stove and oven as well as a microwave and full sized refrigerator. No need to go out for breakfast or lunch. We did order out for dinner, but could have cooked in if needed. The house was cozy and comfortable. There was an extra bedroom with two twin beds so it would work well for parents with 2 young children. Location was great for getting around. and the residential area was quiet. We did have a bit of trouble finding it as it was set back off the road with what looked like a private home to the front right, although that was rental too. The street number was difficult to see as it was not in a prominent place and a light color. One word of warning is that the shower is very small, so it could be problematic for a large person, although there is an outdoor heated shower. If you want to be able to cook some of your own meals and be a little less crowded, this is ideal for a couple or family of 4 as an alternative to a motel and yet for a reasonable price.

Quaint, cozy, couldn’t be better

Loved the location. The cottage was the perfect size and very comfortable. Loved the beach theme throughout the place. I walked to Nauset beach every day even though a Nor’Easter blew through while we were there.

Cottage was very comfortable, 9:00 checkout a bit early, makes for a hectic morning

Place was comfortable, could use a new screen door on the slider, bathroom door sticks on top, and outdoor shower could use better drainage and some work on the door
