Immediately at check-in, we were bombarded with time share marketing (which i expected).
The first room we were assigned to, the living area was like a dungeon. No windows except for in the bedroom there was a doorwall. Also the deadbolt on the door didn’t lock. Second room was a deluxe villa, which was much more bright and open. Clean and good amenities. Nice staff. Great bartenders at the main pool. They were so sweet to my kids making their day special.
Great pool area, though we visited during off-season so only the main pool had service. The waterpark is NOT included in the resort fee; had I known that, I would have chosen to stay somewhere else as we came with our kids for this reason. Putt putt was included and wonderful. The resort stated there was fishing, but it was not available. My son was disappointed.
The on-site food is delicious, however the service at Drafts was the worst. We were seated in the bar area for over an hour; drinks were never refilled, no one ever came to take our order, so we left. We went to get the pizza on-site which was slow but DELISH. The restaurant manager came over and gave us…. one free kids burger for our trouble…….
We tried to use the arcade, but the cards/machines and credits were malfunctioning. I spent $40 for about 10 minutes of playing. When I asked the arcade manager for assistance, his solution was to follow my kids around and swipe his card for three free credits.
