Wonderful location, close to all parks. The host was very pleasant and prompt in her communication. The house could use a little more routine type maintenance. The dishwasher didn't clean well, as the soap holder leaked so the pod stuck inside it. We ended up washing everything by hand. We specifically asked ahead if there were beach towels, as there were 10 of us, but arrived to findthere were only 5 towels, so we had to buy some. The water level in the pool went low so it didn’t heat, so we had to fill it. There was a hose and timer so that was easily done. The pool guy came the next day to adjust & clean, and he was super nice. The water eventually heated up again. Several of the billiard table ball baskets would just fall out every time the ball went in. There was only 1 usable pool cue, the other 2 were missing the felt tip. The caulk in the showers and hot tub was black with mold in spots. The previous renters had dumped their trash incorrectly without bags, although the rules are clearly posted, so we ended up having to bag their trash in order to get garbage pickup restarted for us. The layout of the house is very nice, with plenty of space and rooms, and a nice long dining table indoors and out. We rented the grill and it worked great. The pool overlooks a retaining pond and woods - beautiful to look out on!
