We’ve stayed at a number of Storey Lake properties over the years, and this place is as bare bones as they come. There is a coffeemaker, but as we sadly found out our first morning, no coffee filters, knives but no cutting board, a washing machine, but no laundry detergent, dishwasher, but only one cleaning packet, etc. So be prepared to go out and buy cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and anything else that is generally standard in rentals. The bed is so rock hard it is painful, and when we arrived late at night, we found that the elevator is broken and there are no lights in the stairwell. The location is great, and resort amenities are nice, but this unit definitely did not make us feel like we were on vacation.

Great location, spacious and perfect for a family

Our stay here was overall very good. Having access to the Hideaway Club kept our 5 year old very entertained and was a great way to enjoy some time- just be sure to get there when they first open at 9 to ensure you have some chairs- it fills up FAST. The condo was really nice- wonderful sunrise views, a great balcony and lots of space inside with a good kitchen. My only feedback would be to come prepared with kitchen basics. What's provided isn't sufficient if you plan on cooking at the house. We had to buy our own basics including salt, pepper, olive oil and things like tin foil and oven mitts. There were coffee filters though. We did leave those items we purchased behind, so hopefully the next family will have access to them. They provide only 2 dishwasher tabs and although the response was quick when we asked for more, we were told they do not provide any more (this was for a 1 week stay) A small amount of dish soap was provided so we made that last as best we could for the rest of the week. There were also are no kitchen dish towels or oven mitts provided, but we made due by using one of the bathroom hand towels. Although it was nice to have the washing machine facilities there, be aware that no laundry detergent is provided, meaning we had to buy a large container of soap for the one time we did use it. We did leave this behind as well, so hopefully that will remain available for the next family too. Overall, the stay was good. Just be prepared with basics.

December Visit

Overall this stay was incredible. The property was very clean. The location was great - we visited both Disney and Universal. We did have an issue one night - a property across the pond was having a party. The music was extremely loud and went on until close to midnight. We had a noise maker on for bed and. still heard the music loudly over it.The people above us were loud too….we could hear them walking/running. Not sure if that’s a unique situation, or if the ceilings are just thinner.Overall, it was a fabulous stay. We definitely would recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again. It was perfect for 3 of us. Everything was comfortable.

My weekend getaway

The only issue we had was the main bedroom mattress was very firm But overall, a great stay really fun time. The lazy river, hot tub, the pool they make really good pizza and drinks

Great stay!

This property was perfect for our family of three for our week at Disney. It is exactly as described in the listing. Very clean and comfortable. The community was great as well, our daughter enjoyed the pool and lazy river. It was about a 15 minute drive to the parks. Would definitely stay again!

Child’s First Trip to Florida

The place was very clean, bright, modern, and felt very comfortable. Our 6 year old grand-daugther thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, slides, splash pad and lazy River. After three days at Disney she said that her favorite was the swimming. We highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!

Orlando stay

The location and the resort were perfect, had a great time at the water park and the condo was clean and looked just like the pictures. The master bed however was hard as a rock. I know beds are subjective but I’ve stayed at lots of rentals and never had a bed this uncomfortable. The condo is also extremely bare bones. Please consider leaving some items like salt and pepper and foil between renters.

Very clean, fun for the whole family, convenient location.

I stayed with my 13 and 7 year old. Basketball court is nice for my 13 year old and the sand and water was great for my 7 year old. The pool was walking distant from our apartment. Apartment was clean and looked new. Highly recommend!!

Great stay, clean place, great water park

The condo was very clean, beds were comfortable. Blackout curtains were a great addition as it got a lot of sunlight. The water park was a bit of a walk but SO WORTH IT! My kids loved it. The only downside is the kitchen was not very well stocked to cook. It had the minimum. No cookie sheets or baking dishes and few cooking utensils. Otherwise great stay and great condo!
