Great place for a family

We enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful, we were impressed by the clubhouse and amenities included, that made the stay. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner did not keep up with the temperature I set it to in 90 degree heat. We arrived and it was set to 75, and sometimes reached 77 even after lowering it to 72 and to 70 to try to get it cool. There was long black curly hair left in the bathroom- stuck to the painting- that’s an ick for me but I was able to overlook it because I also shed and know the challenge of getting every hair. We were attending a funeral, I took out the iron to care for my dress and the water reservoir dumped onto my dress and was broken prior to my use but I was not aware. We got caught up with a canceled flight because of hurricane Milton and they simply said they’d extend our stay and sandbags are on the porch-it felt very business handled- not empathetic or personable with the stress of our situation but this is a business.

The Purple Condo was very nice and clean. Communication with the owners was timely and impeccable. The property is located at Storey Lake gated community. The community itself was extremely busy, with lots of people in the common areas like in the pool, gym and cars parked on both sides of the street which, at times, made it difficult to drive to and from the condo. One of the gates was broken and kept opened throughout the two days of our stay. Many guests used that opened gate to drive into the community through the wrong side (the side opened was the exit and guests were using to enter it) and unsafe as I saw a couple of incidents that were almost collision like.

Graduation trip

This was our daughters’ choice for her senior trip as a family. Our previous VRBO location cancelled on us two days before our trip. We found this place and are so thankful it worked out because I believe this place was better than what we had! The condo is nicely decorated and we loved spending our rest days at the clubhouse. The staff was awesome. The only advice I would give is that this rental has the bare minimum of necessities. Take stock when you arrive and you can instacart what you need to the residence. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful property!

Good value

The property was very clean and quite decent for what we paid. Clean and good communication. Good location close to parks and shopping. So good value for the space. Very no frills experience compared to other rentals we have stayed in through VRBO. No top sheets on basic bunk beds. Our kids are young so it was okay for them. It really was fine for us, but just be prepared to bring absolutely everything you might need for the bath and kitchen if you plan to cook or make coffee. Kids loved the water slides and lazy river. The closest bridge to the pool is out, and the other was slightly swaying when we were on it with another family. There is a closer pool if you wanted to just swim though.

Spring Break 24’

Great property in a great area! We thoroughly enjoyed the space. Everything was super clean and well taken care of. Beds slept great which was awesome because we were logging 30000 steps a day at the parks!

Wonderful, modern home away from home

The rental was cute and well-decorated. It had everything we needed to be comfortable for our short stay in Orlando. We enjoyed the pool area and close proximity to attractions. Thank you for sharing our home.

Nice spot

Very nice rental, clean and well kept. Area was safe and easily accessible for ride shares and deliveries for food, groceries etc. Close by to attractions, stores and restaurants. Second bedroom with bunk beds are a tight fit for teens or adults, a bit uncomfortable but not terrible. Available pools/club house on property are very crowded and is difficult to get chairs. Great communication from owner, over all a good experience.

Weekend stay

We decided to go a little ways from home to enjoy the weekend. We saw this property online and it looked very nice. The pool and lazy river were great. Room was very clean except the small overhead fans in the bathroom were caked full of dust. We wiped them down as best we could outselves. We understand this is the cleaning service and that is separate from the owners. Overall we had a very pleasant experience and would definitely stay at the purple chair condo again.

Nice place

It is a nice place. Life happens if you have an issue talk to the owner. They are quick to resin caring and helpful manors. Life happens! A little attention to detail cleaning.. But we really enjoyed the place ( and I am picky). Thank for letting us use your dove to enjoy our grandchildren.

Family vacation

Our stay was great. Property with the right space. Nice balcony. Great leaving, kitchen and dining areas. Condo area is safe, they have a water park and it is a great location to move around Orlando parks and shoppings. Certainly a return place for next Orlando vacations.

We loved it!

What is pictured is exactly what you get! I was pleasantly surprised! Floor unit (no need for the stairs or elevator), which was super convenient! It was clean, comfortable, and prepped with some essentials (more than we expected). Communication with the host was A+!! The host was very kind and promptly responded to messages. The main pool was within close walking distance, and it was never crowded. The property was away from all the busy traffic (making it easy to get in and out when we left) but still close to everything! Like, it took maybe 10mins to get to Disney. It actually did not take us long at all to get anywhere we went because we were so close (shopping…including 2 of the outlet centers, groceries Publix and Walmart, fast food and restaurants, the Fun Spot/Old Town, etc.) Also, it has more than one entrance into the community. So if the main entrance was backed up with cars, we just drove minutes, around to the other entrance and got right in that way. Overall, the location was great, the host was great, the property was great! We enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

Place looked, felt, and smelled great upon entering. However, when we went to go cook a meal, every utensil we retrieved from the drawer was dirty. Several glasses and bowls were dirty as well, as though someone used a dish and fork and put it right back in the cabinet. Other than the kitchen issues, everything else was fine. The master bedroom shower was very enjoyable. I love the neighborhood amenities.

Disney July 4th Getaway

We wanted to get away to Disney for July 4th Celebration. The Purple Chair Condo was a short drive to Disney. The accommodations were perfect! Wonderfully decorated, comfortable and secure with Gated entry. The owners are great and responded quickly with any questions we had. Conveniently located to grocery, dining options and we took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and cooked several morning. Will be back!!!

Would definitely return!

A beautiful property with great amenities. It was so nice to be able to be picked up and taken to the clubhouse. Jacuzzi was nice and condo was so so spacious. It checked everything off of my list for a great vacation

Not as close to the amenities

Was grateful for a pool that was close by, otherwise the main resort attractions such as the mini-golf, kayaks, and main pool was about a mile away. Property was clean and comfortable.

Loved purple chair condo!

We spent a week at this beautiful condo, we loved it! Nice, clean, close to Disney. Easy check in and out process. Rosie was very nice, I had couple questions and she quickly answered. We will definitely stay in this condo again.
