Great location

Overall our stay was good, we did have a couple concerns upon checking in and reached out to the property management and the issues were resolved. Location is spectacular, house is on a hill, first house and the privacy screen in the pool area is the cherry on top. It is also in Emerald island which is our go to resort when we go to Florida. House comes with a few toiletries but you will need more most likely. Description didn’t include any child accommodations but to our surprise, bed rails were provided , pack and play, high chair, simple strollers and a bunch of other things.

The house is very good and is in a good safe área, the pool is very warm and i would definitely stay there again. Out of all the houses we have rented in Orlando this one is one of the best. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in this sweet home.

Great location.

The property was very close to attractions. My grandkids enjoyed the pool and game room. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will stay again.

The house was beautiful and the pool area was very nice!!

We totally enjoyed our stay on this property. The pool/jacuzzi was utilized every day of our stay. Our only complaints were that the house has no supplies stocked. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and one garbage bag. We have rented many VRBO properties and this is the only one that was like this. Also, the bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms is listed as a queen, but is really only a double. These were minor issues and we would highly recommend this property to large groups looking for a nice, centrally located place to stay in the Orlando area.

Filthy house and unhelpful management

We visit the area multiple times a year and have never encountered a house like this. The property was filthy and management was unwilling to address problems or refund money. I was told they did not have records of the several voicemail messages I left. House had sugar ants and roaches in kitchen, bathrooms had mold, rec room smelled like dirty diapers and an old moldy, wet carpet was left in rec room. Couches had visible dirt on them and the pool furniture was falling apart along with the pool cover that literally disintegrated in into the pool when we tried to put it on. We paid for pool to be heated and it was cold as ice with heater not on upon arrival (we have a heated pool at home so we are familiar at how it works). The management made excuse after excuse and said they only had record of one call and had denied any refund. Run from this management company.

Nice large house

Lots of room for our group of 9 to spread out. Grandkids loved the garage with games which was a main factor in renting this house. Unfortunately some rugs or something had been pulled up in house and were piled in garage which were in the way and made garage smell a little stale. We did contact management because there was only one kitchen towel and one dish cloth in house and the next day a packet with one more towel and dish was delivered. You never know if your VR is going to have any household supplies or not, be prepared this one has nothing. We had exterminators show up for a scheduled appointment that we weren't aware of and that worried us a little (you never know) so we did gather up wallets and purses just in case they weren't legit. Beautiful subdivision, quiet and close to Disney.

Great Home, great pool and sauna, but......

The house was great, but some things, like the kitchen table are getting tired. It was on a slope. Best pool and TV we have had at Emerald Island, but we could not get the Master Bed TV to work, and the beds need to be replaced, very uncomfortable. Our biggest issue was bugs in the kitchen and living room. I know we are in Florida, but I think that needs to be taken care of.

Great location, but has a lot of problems

I don’t like to leave bad reviews because sometimes things just go wrong, so I am just going to list the pros & cons… First the cons: By the time we arrived and got unloaded, the “office” was closed so we couldn’t get in touch with anyone about our issues until Monday. The window in master bedroom was busted out and glass was in the floor- not only was the temperature a problem, but we had a two year old that had to be kept out of the area. The washing machine was broken, the coffee maker was broken and there were roaches ranging from tiny to smallish in the bathroom and kitchen(which is a disgusting deal breaker for me). The beds were awful and the showers were a bit gross with some mold and run down fixtures. The pros: It is a very lovely property overall and tastefully decorated. The game room was great and the Wi-Fi was pretty good. We didn’t use the pool but that area looked nice. And the best for last- the location and distance to the Disney parks was outstanding!

First time using VRBO

The Emerald Island Resort was beautiful. The house on the other hand had issues...no WIFI upon arrival (it took them 3 days to fix) pool was not heated even though i paid for pool heat before arriving (it took them til day 4 to fix) ...I was very dissapointed with the overall experience and stay at this house and would not recommend to anyone.

Very underwhelming

We’ve stayed at numerous properties and this one did not meet the standard we have become used to. The house and area itself was perfect for going to Disney and Universal. The downside was we had no internet from day 2 and we stayed a week. This also meant no TV because it was Inter based. I called two times to talk about the issue and each time I was told I would get a call back within an hour and never heard back. So to say that was frustrating is an understatement, when we wanted to just relax and have something on at nights, and to have something on for the kids. We also had issues with the pool. The first day we arrived it was still freezing, I called and was given attitude for being in the house at 3:50 and not 4;00. We came from Utah and arrived a little early, so the employee saying anything on that part as a comeback was a joke. He then tried to tell me about how the pool was heated that day and wouldn’t be ready till the next day. So why did we pay for the first day of heating when it wasn’t ready for us to swim that night?!? Then when the pool was heated, the hot tub was more like a lukewarm bath, so why is it advertised as a hot tub? If it can’t be heated past a certain temp, that should be advertised before we ge t the welcome email. Overall the place was nice well kept and was enjoyable, but these little things kept the experience from being amazing for us.

Poor response

Pool didn’t get heated until last day . Problems with internet and tv . Air conditioning didn’t work in game room and response time was dissatisfying. I would love to rent this property again ! I would like some type of refund . Loved the house , location, amenities location . Suppor

Great property for fair price

This house was perfect for our stay. Check in was a breeze and the house was immaculate. The master bedroom and bathroom was very large! One of the bedrooms has its own bathroom, which was a bonus. Only draw back was that we had to purchase all of our cleaning supplies, hand soaps , etc. I expected to have to grab a few things, thinking some of the items may have been left behind from past guests, but not the case. Overall, great house and resort!

Great location and great size, but still a little disappointing.

Prior to arriving trying to communicate with the property manager was less than productive. When I tried to determine if there were things like a crib or pack play there on the property I was referred to an email that had the property info on it that has a place where you could rent those things. So I packed a bunch of unnecessary items because there was a crib and pack play on the property. My next complaint would be that this is the first Vacation rental I’ve stayed at that didn’t have any supply of basic things like garbage bags, dish soap, hand soap, or extra toilet paper. So basically that was mostly just an annoyance. The security gate that we checked in at was not very helpful in explaining that they expected us to get a gate card, the email I received said the office was only open from 8-5 so since we got there at 3 am and then spent the next few days at Disney we never got the card which wasn’t a problem until one night we got a lot of hassle for not having a card to renter. The poor instructions and lack of consistency in your policy was not impressive. Finally we paid for the pool heat which was great, but they also advertise that there is a spa tub, which got about a hot as tepid bath water.

We love the pool. The house is well maintain. It could have a little bit more outside dishes since we were ten people. However, all the appliances was working well and were very clean.

Great for a large group

Beautiful house , great location, Beds and pillows could be changed not comfortable Should have notes in stuff ex. safe -how to use, door locks - how to lock using pin pad on dead bolt how to run pool and hot tub Cleaner was there, did not speak English, told me no toilet paper in toilet put in garbage bin. Would not of known this ,was no notes anywhere on this If u go in cooler weather definitely get the pool and hot tub heat , it was worth it as we had little ones except in the last two days weather was in low 60 and water heat went colder Very safe with gate around pool Washer worked well but dryer could be replaced was not very hot took forever to dry clothes Plenty of pool and regular towels Need to put a deposit for your gate key card Would definitely stay here again
