Just okay

We stayed for over two weeks here. No instructions were given for how to handle trash, we had to ask a neighbor! The owner was very responsive with the problem of internet going out. Overall house was okay. There were broken lamps, drains that didn’t drain in showers and faucet in kitchen broken, beds had broken parts to them. Overall the property was just mediocre. Nothing fancy or well kept about furniture or appliances. Appreciate the host for responding quickly but we had to ask for things.we were given check out instructions 10 minutes before check out time- and we had already left.This neighborhood is crowded and took about 15 minutes each night to get in gate waiting on large crowds. The pool was nice again just okay with broken pieces/tiles around the drain there. The table outside was also rusty and chairs unstable. We didn’t use the grill because that was going to cost an astronomical additional fee. All dishes were dirty at arrival and we had to rewash. Granite the rewash happened with supplies provided from hosts which was nice. Could really use a little tlc to fix broken things and this may be a nice house. Host please give details for how to handle trash, and pool and gym codes as part of arrival. Don’t make people have to ask and then please provide check out instructions in advance so items can be done correctly for your cleaning service.

Not what was expected

First of when we got to the house the code was given to us incorrectly. Our first thought when entering the house was it did not look like the pictures shown-they need to provide a much updated pictures. There were dead roaches on the walls and crawling around the house.. very disgusting to see. Then to find out there is no cable and not all TV's had functioning remote controls. The amenities listed needs to also be updated, no towel for the pool other than the 2 towel given in each bathroom. The beds were the worse very uncomfortable to sleep on.. when u sleep on one end the other end goes right up. If this house was fixed and clean and looked like the pictures we would rent again!!

A good base but a bit tired.

This property was clean and functional but very basic compared to others we have stayed in nearby. There is limited kitchen equipment, no clothes hanger for drying and no small extras like salt, pepper and a starter set of coffee. The sitting room could do with a few more armchairs as it sleeps 10 but we couldn't all sit together of an evening, nor together at the dining table. One bedroom had no side tables and another only had one, so the children ended up leaving their stuff all over the floors. It also smelt quite musty, which I think was down to an old leak that had been fixed, but occurred again whilst we were there. The management company were very good though, fixing the leak promptly and also sorting out the internet when it went down. Could do with a bit of tlc and some updating. Perfectly functional though if you are looking for a place to sleep.

Disney Trip

The house served its purpose to sleep 6 of us comfortably, however the rooms with the bunk beds did not have actual pillows, only decor pillows and there weren’t any extra stored in the house. The walls had marks all over them as well as one bathroom having smears of what looked like blood are red dirty on it. The screen that was suppose to enclose the pool area had a rip in the top so the pool was full of bugs, which made using the pool very inconvenient, especially when it took 30 minutes to get it semi-clean enough to want to get in it. The distance from the Disney parks was very convenient drive. Amenities listed were functioning and provided.

Not happy

When we first arrived we noticed the pool was dirty van no skimmer was provided. So the kids were unable to swim as they were looking forward too. Then we noticed that the TVs did not include a working Roku remote. So during our whole trip we were without tv access. Definitely didn’t work out too well with having kids with us. When bought to the attention of the owner, she stated that she’d drop off some remotes. This was never done. I had clothes to wash only to find out the dryer did not work at all. Video proof if needed. So I had to end up packing wet clothes on my trip back home. Also we ended up being frightened by a roach in the bathroom upstairs. Picture for proof. I sure hope that we didn’t get any to climb into our luggage and come home with us. Quite disappointing when your not able to access the amenities listed.

Property is just OK overall

First impression when we got there- it didn't look like the pictures. There is a lot off wear and tear on everything- carpet, paint, furniture, etc. Pros- Price, privacy, clean (just not kept up well), spacious enough for our group of 4 moms/girls to stay comfortably, sleeping areas and linens clean and comfortable, close enough to I-4 (20 mins) to get where we needed to go Cons- Oven does not work- took over 4 hours to heat up and never really cooked the food Ice machine gets clogged every time you use it Toaster is broken Pool screen had one panel that was totally ripped and hanging into the patio area which let in tons of bugs Pool is freezing- we paid to have it heated and it barely got warm for less than a day before that also stopped working. No response from owner about fixing it or refund (still) Master bedroom toilet has flushing problems Overall for the price it was not bad but a lot of little annoying things that together became frustrating, especially when we mainly picked this type of property to swim and cook and couldn't do much of either.

Absolutely Horrid!

Multiple broken items, beds in kids rooms were shaky due to loose screws, baby gate / screens to protect from pool not in functioning order, towels in dryer so we had to go purchase towels since we did not know where they were, owners car in garage so we did not have room to park, trash not picked up daily, AC dis not work properly, needs serious updates- I could go on and on - very disappointed.

Great location

If you are looking somewhere close Disney this the place you would want to stay . I love the location , we enjoy the house and the pool ! The only one thing It was cleanliness all bed sheets had hairs all over .

Falling apart

The house was a nice size and good neighborhood. Everything in the house was falling apart though. The dishwasher handle was coming off, the shower doors upstairs were coming off, the downstairs toilet over flowed, the curtains on back door were falling down, the closet doors were falling down in the upstairs bedroom, the bunk beds were very shaky. Felt like everything we touched was already broken. I have four little kids so not very safe at all. If things get fixed up I would definitely come back.

Beautiful House

We really enjoyed this house. It was perfect for our trip of 4 Adults and 4 kids. We really enjoyed the pool area. Would definitely recommend you get the pool heat, pool was a lil chilly. Bedrooms was nice and spacious. The bunk rooms were nice for the kids. Living room nice and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The community is nice and quiet. The community pool is awesome, kids really loved it. We will be definitely using this house again.

Good location, bare house

We requested a reservation and paid via credit card, so I assumed that our rental was secured. However, about a week before our trip, I hadn't gotten any information on where the house was or check-in procedures so I tried to contact the owner but got no response. The night before our rental was supposed to begin, I called HomeAway which helped me locate the owner and she was very helpful in getting us in at the last minute. She said she never received any verification documents, but they were never sent to me (she said they were supposed to be sent automatically). The owner also very flexible when a late checkout was needed. Arriving at the house was easy, the instructions were clear, and the location is great - very near Disney and grocery stores, shopping, restaurants. The house is minimally furnished with cheap furniture and there's just mattresses and box springs on the floors. There were a lot of extra mattresses and very spacious closets, so you could really fit a lot of people in this house if you wanted to. The walls and carpets showed lots of wear and tear. We had no problems with the wireless internet. The kitchen was stocked with the basic dishes and cooking utensils needed. It was clear that the house had been cleaned (beds made, towels folded, sanitary strips on toilets) except the floors were very dirty (made our feet black when walking on them), there were dead bugs in the carpets, and hair caught up in the shower drain. I wrote to the owner and she said that Florida has lots of sand so it's impossible to get all the dirt off and the cleaners can sometimes leave a hair or two behind. Although we were not satisfied with that response, we bought supplies and cleaned it ourselves and moved on with our vacation. It didn't seem worth it to spend our limited vacation time to protest the condition.
