Our stay was good. We were at the theme parks most of the time. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen could use measuring cups, measuring spoons, and a mixing bowl. The only issue we had was the safety concerns of the neighborhood. The first night we were stuck in construction on the interstate after closing the park. Police are at the exit lights flashing. We wait for 30 minutes to get in the gate. The street was dark and not a lot of other people. The curtains in the main living area on the sliding glass doors was not full coverage. I was nervous that the sliding door locks seemed like they could be easily manipulated and I didn’t have a stick/handle to place for extra security. The second night the police were at the gate again lights flashing. It was a single line and took a while and we were told there was an “incident.” We heard sirens most of the night. It took about 40 minutes to get to Epic with the traffic in the morning. We made it to Disney in about 25-30 min. After arriving home, I read multiple posts of tourists that were robbed while sleeping if their purses and things on tables. Robbers entering while they slept,entering through the sliding glass doors. I hope these doors will somehow get better coverings and increased security on the locks somehow. I am thankful we were not a target but I question the safety of Champions Gate. I google searched and it confirmed my fears. It seems to happen often. Host response was great, easy checking and out. Issue is safety.
