The host, Veronica, was excellent in her communications. The house was perfect for our group of 3 coupes. The house was very clean and convenient to attractions on the island. It was also an easy walk to the beach and adjacent restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at Veronica’s Villa.

Veronique, our exceptional host, warmly welcomed us, providing a thorough tour and an informative book detailing amenities, directions, and local highlights upon our arrival.The villa, meticulously maintained and flawlessly clean, guarantees not just comfort but an exceptional experience. Positioned just above Orient Bay, it offers a haven of total privacy and tranquility, creating an atmosphere of pure relaxation. Tastefully adorned with comfortable beds, stylish decor, and a fully stocked kitchen, the open architecture adds a distinctive allure. Each bedroom, complete with its own full bath and the option for darkening hurricane shutters, ensures an elevated level of privacy.Just a short 2 minute drive or approximate 8 minute walk to Orient Bay beach, shops, and restaurants, For those unfamiliar with the island, navigating by car is easy, allowing you to reach any beach on the island. We visited 4 outstanding beaches all within 15 minutes of the Villa - an absolutely amazing convenience. The highlight of Villa Veronica is undoubtedly the inviting pool surrounded by a courtyard and veranda, offering an idyllic retreat for relaxation. This stay was a high-end, distinctive experience, highly recommended!

Amazing Villa!

This villa is perfect in every way. We are a Franco-British family living in Toronto and came to St Martin for a post Xmas break with our adult kids and sister. We were delighted with the privacy of the pool set in the middle of the courtyard, which provides an ideal gathering place for an early morning coffee, relaxing in the afternoon sun or an evening cocktails!. The three bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with separate entrances looking out onto the pool. We didn’t rent a car and walked to the many Orient Bay beaches, a grocery store and a variety of restaurants and bars. Veronique, the hostess, was beyond attentive to all our needs and even offered to drive us to the Pinel Island Ferry location. We will be back as soon as we can. Sarah

Villa Vernonique - Orient Beach

Veronique, the property owner/manager, met us in person at check-in and check-out - a VRBO first for us. She is/was very a gracious and communicative host. The house provided us with plenty of space for 5 people to have their privacy and share space in the comfortable living room. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed when we wanted to cook. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and everyone had their own bathroom. The pool was cleaned while we were there and the courtyard provided us with options for sun or shade. The house was lovely and as it was described in the VRBO posting. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants and bars. The local market is reasonably priced and well stocked. Be prepared to stock up on bottled water - the house water is on a cistern and not recommended for drinking. We definitely recommend the NoNo car service rental and airport transport recommended by Veronique. Off street parking is provided. Overall we loved our stay and would stay there again. Thank you!

Vacation Villa Vibes

Words can’t even describe how gracious my sister and I are . Our brother couldn’t make it was the only thing missing. Perfect villa with plenty of shops, restaurants, beaches, etc. Marlene was a great help driving us around the island. And of course Veronique was super attentive and an excellent hostess. Great vacation!

We recently stayed at Veronica Villa and had a great time. All of the 5 star reviews are very accurate. The Villa is very nicely furnished, to include a full kitchen. The location is great and we really enjoyed the outside area and pool. Veronica is very easy to work with and goes over and above to make the stay the best, even having pastries and wine as a welcome. Highly recommend staying here and will do so again.

This is A Wonderful Vacation Home

The minute we walked into this villa we were blown away by the space! Then we met the owner and we were even more excited for our stay. It is a great location and the outside area can't be beat with the pool and living spaces. The bedrooms were so comfortable and it was laid out for privacy. We love the area and Veronique and her husband were lovely and helpful.

All we ask for

We are former guests of Club Orient and sought a villa with an appropriate amount of privacy. This villa was perfect. The patio/pool area is spacious with lots of both sun and shade. Several of us begin to have some mobility issues. We sought a villa with no steps and that is what we got. The tradeoff was there is no sea view. The host was very responsive when we had questions. I did have some wifi issues initially. They did seem to resolve themselves.

One of our best experiences in years!

Villa Veronica is as advertised - and even more so. It is very well maintained, extremely clean, well equipped and the host, Veronique is amazing. It is also very private, and is a very relaxing place to be. We have spent years looking for a place like this - it is well above average and deserves a 5 star rating. The Villa is nicely located above Orient Bay and access to the beach and surrounding shops and restaurants is quite convenient. Other surrounding areas such as Anse Marcel, Pinel Island, Marigot and Grand Case are close by and are easy day trips, as are a host of other places. The food and wine scene on the island are superb, and we were not disappointed. Overall - we highly recommend this property and this host.

Private Oasis in Paradise

This 3-bedroom villa is an amazing, private property in the heart of Orient Bay, St. Martin (French side). The host, Véronique is excellent. She is friendly and responsive to messages. She met us at the gate, gave us a tour of the house and provided an array of goodies to welcome us. She also gave us plenty of privacy during our trip. The villa is well appointed. The beds and couches are comfortable and the decor is stylish. The kitchen is fully stocked full of all the cooking pans, plates, etc. that you could need. The bedrooms are private, each with their own full bath. You can even put down the hurricane shutters for a very dark room if you want. The pool is the best part. The pool, courtyard and veranda make this property ideal. You can relax in the pool, lounge in the chairs, or read a book under a fan in the shade. There is an outdoor kitchen as well. The villa is a short walk to the beach (maybe 5-7 minutes) and a slightly longer walk to the many fantastic restaurants in town. Overall, this is a high-end experience, one that I fully recommend.

The best VRBO stay ever

We’ve rented many time thru VRBO and this house and host were the nicest ever. The house is exactly as presented on the site. Extremely clean and comfortable in every way, the beds, the couches, the lounges, all super comfortable. We highly recommend the house and particularly the host who went out of the way to help us find a doctor when needed. 5 mins to the beach 10 to many restaurants. Book this now, the location is the cherry on top!

Every bit as good as it looks!

We were a party of 5 in our sixties and seventies, staying (for 7 days) on St Martin for the first time. We had been recommended the Orient Bay area by friends who are regular visitors, and we were not disappointed - it is a highly impressive and attractive beach area surrounded by rolling hills. The Villa Veronique is special - it looks beautiful in its listing and is even better in reality - very clean, calm and spacious. We spent most of our time at the villa in the outdoor areas; it is well designed to provide an abundance of shade throughout the day (and cover from the occasional brief downpour!) whilst offering plenty of terrace space around the pool for the sun-lovers. The outside covered terrace area has large ceiling fans to keep you cool, whilst indoors there is effective air conditioning in all rooms (and more ceiling fans in the large kitchen and living room). At a gentle stroll, we could walk to the village shops and restaurants in 10-12 minutes and to the closest part of the beach in about 6 minutes. We did not hire a car, but used the occasional taxi instead. We were very warmly welcomed by the owner, Veronique - a delightful lady. She lives close to the villa and, on the very rare occasion we needed a minor problem solved, she was there in minutes. She was equally quick in responding to WhatsApp questions from us about organising taxis etc. We were very happy indeed to have chosen Villa Veronique as our temporary home on St Martin.

Great place to stay! We found this place exactly as promised. The host was super nice to us. Very easy to communicate. She gave us privacy throughout the entire stay but if we need anything she was ready to help always. I will try to come back to this place and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a place to stay during vacations.

Lovely Stay at Veronique Villa

My family had the best time at the villa. Private bedrooms for all three couples. The kitchen had everything you could need and we grilled out as well. We all loved the pool. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Veronica was very special and helped us out tremendously. Her villa is a private paradise.

Best in 22 years!

My wife and I have been coming to St. Martin for the past 22 years, just the two of us. This year, we decided to take our adult “children” with us. They are all in their late 20s and my oldest son is married. 6 adults. I know this Orient Village neighborhood well, but did not know this property specifically as it’s isolated from the noise and view of the main road well. I found it on VRBO and the description looked to be exactly what we needed. My wife and I took our traditional “just me and her” vacation a month before and requested to check out the property ahead of time. Veronica was very accommodating and her husband was even there to welcome us. The place is exactly like the pictures. Very large, clean and functional, as well as beautiful. When returning with the “kids” Veronica had the place spotless with many welcoming gifts including wine and beers in the fridge and a big basket of snacks. She was there personally to give us the keys and instructions on all we needed to know. She was also available throughout our stay and answered questions promptly. My wife continued to rave about how warm and welcoming she was. The beach is a short walk away, the most optimal route being through the Esmeralda property. Orient village is a bit farther and my kids found the “Good Morning” cafe for breakfast several mornings. This is definitely the nicest place we’ve stayed in 22 years. It’s too large for just my wife’s an my needs for our traditional vacation, but perfect for 3 couples to share or a family vacation like we did. The pool is great, outdoor kitchen very convenient; both kitchens well equipped. All of our family checked in with us later and said they had a wonderful time. Thanks Veronica and family for helping make a wonderful vacation!

Wonderful property

This is a lovely rental. The pool and outdoor living is great. Easy walk to the beach. Loved having an outdoor kitchen in addition to one inside. Very Clean!
