This was a perfect location for being able to walk to Chapman University and visit our college kids. The neighborhood is so quiet. The outdoor patio was perfect to sit outside and enjoy. Will definitely be back!

Perfect for the layout of the space & property….nighttime star watching and charming night sounds on private patio…..oh as well as Disneyland fireworks right on time at 9:30 each evening…..,The host was wonderful very clear calmly communicated everything i and my accommodations or requests were met with the enthusiasm and pleasure…. You could tell this isn’t just a rental property to Katie. She’s a sweet woman and takes pride and how she decorates and showcases the obvious for her guests…..
My son Roman, who is very particular was right at home and comfortable
And when we need to leave or come back our own private parking space was very easy and accessible and in a safe area I know all this is I’ve lived in the northern end of Orange for over 25 years and and while I’m looking I enjoy the comfort

Our stay was comfortable and easy. The Hosts are wonderful people who were accommodating and responsive to any needs we had. Parking, use of pool, deck/patio, grill, equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, great shower and nice tv are all bonus features we enjoyed.

Great location and accommodations. We thought the pool would be private. We didn't realize it was in front of the main house's living room so we didn't use it as the main house was occupied. Parking was off the street which was great.

Very convenient location for our family reunion in Anaheim. Clean, well equipped, and comfortable apartment. Property managers friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for visiting family in Orange County.

Had a great time in the retreat at Goose Hollow

Even though we had challenges in finding the place late in the night because of my phone not working properly, Katie helped us out locate the place quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the retreat at Goose Hollow. It's a really nice and cozy place to stay which is quite close to DisneyLand. A nice perk of staying at the place was that the kitchen was super equipped!

Perfect Home Away From Home

Don’t hesitate, book this property. The owners couldn’t have been kinder. We loved our stay. Ideal distance between LA and San Diego, saw all the sights. Can’t wait to go back!

Dad’s Birthday

This property in Orange is perfectly located for buzzing around Orange County. Flew in and out of Ontario. 20 minutes. Birthday celebration in Costa Mesa. 15 minutes. The house is expertly furnished and stocked with amenities. We will be back if Katie will have us.

So wonderful! Relaxing and cozy.

This was a wonderful and relaxing stay. Our family came down to go to Disneyland and we were so happy to have found The Retreat at Goose Hollow. Nice stay in Orange!

We really enjoyed staying in the apartment beside Katie's home! It's a lovely place - very comfortable! My only disappointment was that a hot tub was advertised on the VRBO site, but it didn't exist. Katie refunded us $100 and said she will update that on the site. Their backyard pool isn't heated, so it was too cool to use it without a hot tub in the fall. Katie was very nice.

Lovely home with all we needed

We loved out short stay that allowed us close proximity to Chapman University for homecoming and a space to relax in the evenings with a glass of wine in the outdoor patio. Katie as such a gracious host. Gem of a find for our family of 4. Tranquil and quite.

All of the comforts you could ask for and so close to Disney!

I flew out to California from NJ to meet up with my 19 year old son who is currently a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton. My son was a huge Disney Cars fan as a child and he wanted to visit Disney California Adventure Park during my visit on the west coast. He had one request which was to stay somewhere that had a pool, so I found this place on VRBO and booked it for a weekend. We couldn’t have picked a better place! All of the comforts of home, a beautiful pool and the most gracious of hosts who went above and beyond to create a memorable stay for both of us. Thank you for that! ❤️ Would highly recommend your place to any body!

Great location, great property, great host

3 of us stayed to visit family. Very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable - but also conveniently located near grocery and main streets. Google Maps is wrong - pay attention to the street address, but that was the worst thing that happened to us the whole time and Katie was right on it. We didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. Easy, convenient off-street parking too.

Lovely stay in Orange

Katie and John offered us this apartment while visiting family nearby. The location was perfect and the apartment was very comfortable and spacious for three of us. There is a lovely deck with a table for breakfast, and their unheated pool was just right in the hot weather and generously shared by the hosts, with a large variety of pool accessories. The apartment was well furnished and had many of the little things that other apartments lack (adequate towels and pool towels, plenty of toiletries, full refrigerator and stove, microwave and dishwasher, ceiling fans, etc.) Very enjoyable stay and would gladly stay there again. Thanks, Katie and John!
