My husband and I drove 9 hours for our long over due vacation. Upon arrival, we entered the unit and was immediately hit with the smell of urine. After offloading our belongings we discovered there was a leak coming from the ceiling fan in the bathroom. The unit above us had a malfunctioning toilet and was leaking. We contacted the Host and was told they would reach out to the owner for a solution. We told them we would go to dinner and wait for them to call back. They never called so, at 10pm I called someone who had sent me a text message regarding the unit. Colleen answered the phone and was shocked that I did not have a resolution. There were no other units open for our time frame and the next option would have ment us paying double for the same time frame. The owner did not even offer to put us in a hotel for the night!!! If it had not been for Colleen this review would have been far worse! She reimbursed us for two days because that is how long it took to get it fixed. She deserves a raise. I will say the unit was nicely furnished, and the furniture was decent. The bed and pillows slept well. The beach view is questionable. The only view we had was of the front/rear of Vehicles parked 10' away from where we sat on the deck of the unit.
