Welcome to Summer House 504B, your beautiful 3-bedroom, 2-bath Gulf-front condo in Orange Beach, offering the perfect home away from home for your well-deserved vacation!

Situated on the 5th floor of Building B, this condo provides stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico and offers access to a large private balcony from both the living room and Primary bedroom, where you can relax to the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore.

The Primary suite is a luxurious retreat, featuring a comfortable King bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bath for added convenience and privacy. The second bedroom boasts a Queen bed, while the third bedroom offers two Full beds, providing ample sleeping space for your guests. Each guest room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and DVD player for entertainment.

In the living room, you'll find a cozy sofa sleeper, perfect for additional guests or children. Stay connected with free wireless internet throughout the condo, and enjoy preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances. A full-sized washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience.

Summer House offers an array of amenities designed for relaxation and fun. Dive into the large, split-level outdoor pool or enjoy the tranquility of our indoor heated pool. Excellent condo, amazing beaches, the pool is spectacular and has a clear view of the beach so if you go during jellyfish season you’ll still have a great time in the pool and condo!

We were not told ahead of time that the dryer was not working. We found out after we had washed a load of clothes and I contacted the host. We had to drape clothes everywhere inside the condo just to let them air dry. When we arrived at the condo we found a half eaten piece of toast in one of the bedrooms. The master bathroom tub had a soap scum ring around it. The other bathrooms shower curtain was mildewed bad. And the floors didn’t appear they had been swept or mopped in a while. They were covered in sand and turned your feet black walking on them for just a few minutes. They did send someone to sweep and mop the floors and did have extra towels sent to us a couple of the days since the dryer wasn’t working. I got a call the day before leaving saying they could come fix the dryer so we could wash up our stuff. So after being told that we washed all of our stuff and then they never showed to fix it so we had to take wet clothes home with us.

Spring break 2025

The unit is well stocked, clean and met my family's needs perfectly. Great furniture in the patio and of course the great view of the Gulf. Beds were comfortable. The unit was clean. The outdoor pool was closed due to construction/painting, but we knew about that well before we came.

Great place!

We loved our stay at the Summer House. Very clean and perfect set up for our family. We were disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed with no notice. Hard when you plan and tell the kids about something that then isn't available. The listing pictures also should not reflect a playground as there is not one on the property. Despite the small set backs, we will be back!

March 2023 Gulf Vacation

Everything was wonderful from the owners and the unit was great. Only issue was the Home Owners Association (separate) only allowed 2 parking passes per unit, and we had 3 families sharing this unit. So one vehicle had to park off site for $25 night. One light switch didn't work, but after texting owners it was repaired within a couple hours. GREAT deck and room for 6 comfortably with ocean-side view! Would definitely book again!!

Great Location But Rundown Property

Check in process was super easy. The door code was texted to us and we did not need to checkin to get keys. Paying an additional $60 to park a second vehicle was ridiculous.. It felt like a way to get more money out of us after we booked. The unit and complex are showing their age. It’s time for an update. Amenities were just okay. Indoor pool and hot tub were closed for repairs during most of our stay. Fitness center was about 80 degrees which made it difficult to workout. The elevators smelled musty and were dirty. In the unit the mattresses were terrible, the floors and trim were dirty. Everything needs a serious professional cleaning. Bathroom shower curtains had mold on them. Enough hot water for about three showers wasn't sufficient for our party of 6. When paying $2500+, you expect you will at least get a hot shower each day. Refrigerator was dirty and barely cooled even two days after stocking it. We had to put our meat, cheese, milk, etc in a cooler for fear it would spoil. We sent a text and they sent a maintenance person out. He left us a note that the refrigerator “was closing in on” a good operating temperature. What does that even mean? We had to use coolers because yogurt in the fridge was not cold. We understand that you can’t overload a fridge with warm drinks and expect it to cook right away. We did not do that and this was 48 hours after we stocked it. Frustrating. Laundry closet doors won’t stay closed because the washer is too big for the space. The dining room table is worn and visibly dirty. I wouldn’t sit on the couch. It smelled like soured milk. The slider door to the balcony is missing a handle on the outside and is very difficult to open and close from the outside. The best thing about this place is the view. I’m used to getting more at the beach for my money. Next time we will book sooner so we have more options. Lesson learned.
