  • Este hermoso condominio se enfrenta directamente al hermoso Golfo de México y las olas están justo al lado de su balcón de gran tamaño: disfrute de una taza de café por la mañana o un cóctel por la noche mirando la puesta de sol sobre el agua.

    El esquema de color del condominio es ligero y tranquilo, lo que se sumará a su modo de relajación de vacaciones. ¡Las mañanas están llenas de avistamientos frecuentes de delfines en juego, mientras que la vida nocturna es especial ya que las familias se reúnen con redes de cangrejo para capturar el aire nocturno, la risa y la despreocupada vida marina!

    Wind Drift es un condominio de 3 dormitorios / 3 baños que puede alojar hasta 10 personas, ¡y es el lugar perfecto para toda la familia!

    El dormitorio principal tiene una cama king-size, vestidor y baño principal en suite con lavamanos individual y combinación de bañera / ducha. El segundo dormitorio cuenta con una cama litera doble empotrada a medida con una cama queen, cama doble y baño completo. El tercer dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales y un baño completo al que se puede acceder a través del dormitorio y el pasillo.

    La gran sala de estar tiene un sofá cama desplegable, una silla y una otomana grandes y cómodas, dos sillas para sentarse, un televisor de pantalla plana grande y una mesa de comedor con capacidad para 6 personas. La barra de desayuno tiene espacio para 6 y la cocina está completamente equipada. Hay una lavadora y secadora, despensa y acceso al amplio balcón desde la sala de estar y el dormitorio principal.

    El condominio está tan bien decorado que seguramente aliviará tu alma, pero si eso no te atrapa, las olas que se encuentran junto a tu balcón de gran tamaño lo harán.

    Wind Drift ofrece de manera única muelles para los huéspedes, ubicados al otro lado de la calle en Old River. Incluso puede almacenar su remolque de barco / jet ski allí, o dejar caer una línea desde los muelles de pesca. Otras comodidades incluyen dos piscinas (una frente al Golfo), y por orden de llegada.

We enjoyed the condo being not as crowded on the beach. It was the perfect proximity to restaurants and other attractions. Very nice amenities and very well maintained and decorated condo and building.

Swept Away

The condo is just lovely with lots of amenities. The beach is beautiful and just a few steps away. There was some construction and painting going on around the building while we were here, but it was manageable and the crew was very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again!

Great Location

We love staying at Wind Drift because of the location. It is a short walk from the condo to the water. We also love that it doesn’t seem as busy as a lot of other condos. There’s no building next to it, so you have lots of room to spread out. My only complaint is that this room had some areas that needed to be deep cleaned and the rugs were pretty dirty. Loved the ice machine and my kids LOVED the bunk beds. Overall it’s a great unit.

Would come again

Condo was very nice and clean. Arrived to what was advertised! No overwhelming items but some small frustrations with the online payment system for parking. Back bedroom closet to the entrance has a window that does not block the glaring light at night and the beautiful balcony overlooking the beach had no working light…

Wind Drift condo

Property mgr. was very helpful and kind. The condo itself needed some cosmetic repairs and updates. The photos on VERBO made it look so new & lovely- which wasn’t quite the case. We had difficulty with the code for opening the gate into the parking lot on a couple occasions.

Beautiful condo w/ many things you need to stay at the beach (well stocked kitchen, places to hang wet towels, hand held shower heads), but unit is definitely looking tired & worn down. Multiple things were broken (wall clock, dining room chair w/ a chunk broken off, vacuum cleaner, chips/cracks in glasses). Other guests have been rough on the unit. The bathrooms w/ standing showers are so small around the toilet that the toilet paper roll touches your leg when you sit down. We were unhappy that the listing doesn't mention all the restrictions they have on canopies at the beach. Those are minor things. Major issue occurred 5 min after arriving when the fridge's glass shelf collapsed out of the frame & shattered at our feet. I immediately called the property owner &, while attentive, she seemed more concerned w/ replacing the shelf than having someone come clean up the glass for us. Being a Saturday, no one was available to come that day. The vacuum in the unit was broken so we only had a broom & dust pan to clean up the glass. We spent 2 hours trying to clean up glass, which had gone everywhere (fridge, floor, countertops). With kids in our condo, I was worried about stepping on glass shards & knew the broom couldn't get up all the glass debris. No one came to clean on Sunday, & it was Monday afternoon when I threatened to leave a bad review that cleaners showed up to vacuum & mop the floors. This is a serious safety issue. I would stay here again but would expect issues.

Check in

Got to the location and had no text about the door code. Did receive the gate code and had an offer for an extra night. It was very stressful because we had five grands with us. The cleaning ladies were there and offered to call the manager for me. I received a call and was told I had not signed the lease agreement. I did that before along with a copy of my drivers license. We sat in the lobby and I did this again.

Great location, not great communication or cleanliness

We were not given the checkin code ahead of time and I couldn't reach the property manager finally VRBO was able to reach them after multiple attempts. I also messaged 2 days before checkin asking for an early checkin and never even got a response. The inside is nice enough but the furniture and rugs are worn and dingy. The walls and ceiling in master bedroom/bath have dust hanging off them and mold growing on ceiling shower. For the price we paid I expected better. We still had a great time and the location/beach is wonderful. They just need to do a deep clean and consider replacing furnishings as they get dirty.

Great stay!

We stayed at Wind Drift 301 in July. This was our first time visiting Orange Beach so we didn't know what to expect. Our group included my elderly parents and 3 older teen kids. We had a great time. The condo itself was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We had no issues at all during our stay. Communication with the host was easy and responses were quick and checkin was simple. We never waited on an elevator and barely even shared with anyone. This end of the beach is pretty laid back especially since we were there on a holiday (4th of July). The parking lot does fill up quickly and parking across the street isn't ideal, but the crosswalk allows crossing almost immediately. The boat slips across the street were well maintained and we walked over there too take a look when we had to park on that side. Overall, I would recommend this condo and would stay there again.

Family Vacation

The condo was great! Very spacious! Having essentially 3 master bedrooms gives you so much privacy when traveling with other couples. The kitchen is large for a condo in my opinion and was well stocked for cooking. The best part is the built in ice maker in the cabinet! Game Changer! I almost never want to rent another condo without one. We had no issues with the elevator and they were never backed up and crowded. We really had no issues that we needed to contact any one about. The only cons: Parking. When we arrived late Friday night both parking lots were full. The parking lot to this condo and the overflow parking across the street. We were forced to either park in a handy cap parking spot or a fire lane. There are several parking spots that you cannot get into if you are driving a truck, Tahoe, Yukon, etc. This issue however is not a reflection of the property owner or the condo itself. We were not out late any of the other nights so it was easier to find parking but I know I saw several cars not in parking spaces and people crossing a pretty busy road at night because they had to park across the street, so just something to consider. The room with the bunk beds does not cool as well as the other 2 rooms. I would recommend bringing a fan if you are a hot sleeper. The other 2 rooms however will freeze you out. Both of the occupants in the other 2 rooms were looking for extra covers at night.
