Beach Trip

The view was amazing. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony and listening to the sounds of the waves. However, when I arrived to the unit and opened the door, there was a very unpleasant odor. It seemed to be a mixture of a stale odor and smoke. Leaving the balcony door opened to allow the unit to air out seemed to help with that. The bed was comfortable, but the living room furniture is really low. Finding a place to park was a task, but that could have been because of the timing of our stay. My crew enjoyed the view and access to the beach, but I don’t know if we will ever stay at The Phoenix again.

Lovely trip!

Superb location. Perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. I have two complaints; floors had not been mopped, nor adequately swept as there was visible debris in every room. No big deal, I just swept and mopped it myself. Also, there was a missing outlet cover in the MBR. Regardless, I would book again!

Our stay began when we were checked in but arrived to an unclean condo at 5pm. The main desk was unaware and we did it get back in until after 6 pm. The condo needs many cosmetic repairs and overall cleaning. Showers have mildew and toilets have that old dirty look. Pullout couch disgusting with large brown stain on mattress. We slept with couch with cushions on instead but cushions were also nasty and worn out. Mold or something black growing on ceiling in 2nd bedroom. Lock on main door was broken. Dryer was extremely loud. The only positive was the beautiful view from balcony. With Covid, people are really concerned with cleanliness. This isn’t the place you want to stay if you are looking for a clean and orderly place. The owner could easily invest a little money to make this a better place. Throw that couch away.

Needed Getaway Sucessfull

My family needed a getaway and since we had not planned in advanced it was getting hard to find the ideal spot. When we found this unit it meet our needs and gave a chance to recharge. Thank you!
