La casa ha sido reconstruida usando la piedra original de la ruina que se encuentra en el lugar cuando fue comprada por sus actuales propietarios en 2004. Dispone de cuatro habitaciones dobles, dos de ellos en suite y dé cabida cómodamente a 8 personas. Hay un gran espacio abierto, que incluye cocina, comedor y sala de estar. Las zonas de estar comunes tienen un suelo de piedra preciosa y los pisos de las habitaciones están hechas de tablas de roble. El mobiliario es principalmente una mezcla de antigüedades procedentes de Inglaterra y localmente en Istria. La casa cuenta con grandes ventanales y techos altos que crean una gran sensación de luz y espacio. También hay una gran terraza para comer al aire libre y barbacoa. Lovely Istrian villa.

This is a beautiful house, probably one of the best looking holiday homes we have ever stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot. As the photos show, it is beautifully furnished, with real care. Everything worked, from the cooker to the showers to the air con - talking of which, there's a unit behind a sofa which we didn't spot for a few days! Well equipped kitchen. Outside, a lovely pool and large garden space. Communication with Tamara was excellent- she responded quickly to any queries. There's no shade at the back of the house in the middle of the day though to be fair the house description does indicate that there isnt. Also, the houses next door are a large holiday let so a bit luck of the draw as to your neighbours. Having said that, they were only noisy on one evening of our stay. We had a great time, would really recommend the villa. And the very reasonably priced Konoba Oprtalj is knockout, in lovely atmospheric village of same name just up the hill. Tagliatelle with truffles - yum!

We had a great vacation in the house. We were nine people and had good room, the pool and the view from house and pool is fantastic. The cleaning could/should had been better. But all in all a great place.

Very nice stay

Absolute Empfehlung

Das Haus ist exakt so wie beschrieben, wenn nicht sogar schöner. Tamara und Bruce haben das Haus sehr schön restauriert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Garten ist top, genauso wie der Pool. Und der Blick von Haus ist atemberaubend schön. Die Lage hat uns super gefallen, es gibt sehr viel zu entdecken. Die Kommunikation mit Tamara war sehr gut. Klare Empfehlung!

Tolles Haus!

Wir sind eine Familie von fünf Erwachsenen und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, super sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet - es fehlt an nichts. Unbeschreiblich schön

Wir mieten seit über 20 Jahren regelmäßig Ferienhäuser in verschiedenen Regionen an, aber dieses Objekt übertrifft wirklich alles. Angefangen von den extrem freundlichen und unkomplizierten Vermietern Bruce und Tamara, über die Lage, das Haus und dessen liebevolle Einrichtung, die unglaublich vollständig ausgestattete Küche bis hin zum wunderschönen Pool mit fantastischem Blick auf Motovun - ein einziger Traum. Die Zeit hier verging wie im Flug und wir werden definitiv baldmöglichst wieder zurückkehren. Bis dahin werden wir von den Erinnerungen an die wunderschönen Tage zehren, die wir hier erleben durften. Tausend Dank dafür!

Stone house in great location in the Istrian countryside

Beautiful traditional stone house with great views towards Motovun. Tastefully furnished throughout with well equipped kitchen. Nice pool and outside area. Approximately 30 minutes to beach towns, but with remote country feeling. As we visited in early autumn, the open fireplace was fantastic on chilly evenings. Really enjoyed our stay!

Großes Haus mit voller und schöner Ausstattung

Das Haus ist mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet insbesondere die Küche. Bei der Ankunft was alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Der Pool wurde von einem professionellen Poolpfleger mehrmals während unseres Aufenthalts gereinigt. Es ist ein Haus mit Liebe zum Detail.

Sehr schönes und top ausgestattetes Haus mit toller Aussicht

Die Fotos stimmen mit der Wirklichkeit komplett überein: Die Villa ist traumhaft renoviert und mit jeder Menge Geschmack, Stil und Liebe zu moderner Technik eingerichtet. Alles da und noch viel mehr bis hin zu Olivenöl und Gewürzen. 10 von 10 Punkten. Die Lage ist perfekt mit Blick auf Motovun, nahe genug für Ausflüge etwa nach Rovinj, Porec, Pula, Umag, Novigrad. Auch die Badestrände von Slowenien oder Triest in Italien sind sehr gut erreichbar. Die Abstimmung mit Bruce war immer schnell, kompetent und sehr entgegenkommend. Die Anfahrt ist eine kleine Herausforderung, die man aber sehr gerne in Kauf nimmt für dieses großartige Haus. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Amazing view after wake up…

First at all the pictures match the reality (what has been promised to us). The view from the house to Motovun is really amazing. The furnishing as well as the equipment was definitely above average. So cooking was relaxed and fun. The location was as described. Livade is a small village and bigger cities are roughly 25-30 minutes away. But to buy daily things like bread, milk, coffee, water etc. you can drive either to Livade (2-3 minutes) or Motovun (7-8 minutes). The area around the house is quite, although there are two other houses. What you have to be aware of is that the house is facing south so sun is going down earlier than at other places BUT the pool lights can compensate this small blemish. When we arrived at the house it was not clean at all so we had to do a little clean-up. BUT we informed Bruce (landlord) and he directly responded. There was a change with the cleaning company and a problem with illness of the team. This is something I would really like to point out here. Bruce always responded (either by mail or phone) very fast when a problem arised and organized someone to fix it. Even on sundays. We really had a wonderful first time holiday at Livade/Croatia and it will be definitely not the last one. Cheers Benedikt

1 Woche Urlaub mit insg. 8 Personen

Das Ferienhaus ist 1:1 wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war immer schnell und reibungslos möglich. Zu 8 hatte jeder ein Bett. 2 Schlafzimmer hatten jeweils ein eigenes Badezimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer teilen sich 1 Badezimmer. Alles allerdings sehr geräumig und mit ausreichend Platz. Auch zu 10. wohl aufgrund des großen Wohnzimmers kein Problem. Hervorzuheben ist noch der gemauerte Grill, der auf den Bildern nicht zu sehen ist. Alles in allem ein Ferienhaus mit dem man definitiv nix falsch macht. 100% Empfehlung!

Die Abstimmung mit Tamara war immer schnell, kompetent und sehr entgegenkommend. Wir hatten ein Gipsbein dabei - Tamara wusste sofort eine Lösung. Danke, Tamara! Tipp: Die Anfahrt war eine kleine Herausforderung, weil wir dachten, die Straße wäre schon zu Ende. Einfach weiterfahren!

Unforgettable.

I cannot recommend this beautiful stone Istrian home strongly enough. No photos can do it justice, it was a privilege to have the opportunity to stay there. The rooms have been lovingly and uniquely furnished but not at the expense of comfort. I have stayed in quite a few holiday homes, my son and family live in Italy and we try to meet regularly - this is the best one ever. Ages ranged from 14 - 70 and we all loved it. The pool and table football being especially popular. The location is breathtaking and it's easy to reach everywhere in Istria. We visited Kamenjak - a must for the swimmers, strolled around the little hilltop villages nearby but we could have happily spent all 4 days at Bazjaki. The countryside is the most beautiful I've seen anywhere in inland Istria. Summing up, as great as the photographs are you'll be amazed how stunning this house and location are in reality.

Urlaub ab Ankunft!

Ein wunderschönes großzügiges Haus mit sehr viel Platz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, jede Familie hat ein gleichwertiges Zimmer, das Haus war wirklich super ordentlich und sauber hergerichtet. Auch wenn die Lage etwas abseits ist, der Urlaub mit Familie und Kinder machen möchte ist hier bestens aufgehoben. In der Küche mangelt es an gar nichts, eine perfekte Grundausstattung und !scharfe Messer! Wir waren definitiv nicht das letzte Mal hier. Vielen Dank für alles.

Super dejligt hus

Fantastisk hus, som er flot renoveret. Har en super udsigt over bjerge og dal. Ligger ugeneret, som sidste hus på vejen meget autentisk ad små smalle stejle veje. Skønne store værelser med adgang til store badeværelser. Dejlig pool med udsigt over dalen. Meget hyggelig overdækket terrasse. Kan kun anbefale dette smukke hus.

Perfect place to take a break

This stunning house is beautifully located with a view towards Motovun from all the rooms, as well as from the pool and the garden. Inside everything is decorated incredibly tasteful and is thoughtfully equipped. There is a lot to explore in the area, especially if you love food (truffles!!, olive oil, wine,..). But also, the beach is just a short drive away. We enjoyed our short stay so much, we are already thinking about coming back next year. Thank you so much for sharing your stunning house with us.
