I was told that I had to make and pay for a room before the lady could let me in. Being a trucker i don’t have the time of energy to go back and forth. I booked through Expedia and she said she saw my reservation. She then opened the door and i giver her my identification. She then proceeded to charge my card again for more than I paid through Expedia along with a incidental hold. I would not have known she did that if my bank didn’t send the notification. I then questioned her about it and she said it happened to another guest. I told her if that was the case why would you tell me to reserve and pay instead of just reserving the room and pay you? She didn’t have an answer and told me a manager would deal with it tomorrow. I checkout at 7am and I ask her about it. She tells me again she told the manager and it’s nothing she can do. I waited for the manager to call and she didn’t so I called the property back. The manager told me she had taken care of it and in 24 hrs it would be resolved. This happened on Monday and I still have three charges on my account from this property. I would NEVER recommend this property to anyone nor do I feel it should remain a MARRIOTT.
