Large Unique & Artistic Lake Michigan Beach House / Awesome Game Room

Located at the very end of a beautiful private road, the Sand Castle Beach House is nestled between beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline and a gorgeous forest. The 3 acre private and exclusive lot features an expansive lake side yard that is level and ready for outdoor games. 2 grills on the large lakeside deck are ready for your vacation time. Laze in the chaise loungers or Adirondack chairs and listen to the waves lap the shoreline.

Please note that during the peak weeks of late June July and early August we have weekly rentals that are Friday to Friday. Please contact me about alternative blocks during that time.

The Sand Castle Beach House is newly renovated. Upgrades include all new birch hardwood floors, all new kitchen appliances, new furnishings and beds, and a new high end TV and audio system. The Owners goal is to provide high quality features from sheets to cookware.

The property features a master suite with a king bed and full bath. The full bath features a walk in shower and hot tub.

A lower level "game room arcade" features a slate pool table, air hockey, ping pong, and shuffle puck.

In late 2020, we upgraded to the fastest unlimited WIFI system available via satellite. We added a strong router to broadcast the signal all over the property- even outdoors.

Originally built in 1990, the home features very unique, contemporary architecture. The living room has a 30 foot cathedral ceiling with large windows that let light flow into the home all day long and provide striking views of the surrounding forest. Theres a loft that overlooks the living space from the second floor. The kitchen and master bedroom have amazing views of the shoreline and sunrises over Lake Michigan. The home features a thoughtful collection of art and some unique pieces.

With 4 comfortable and bright bedrooms and a 5th additional sleeping space in the loft, there's sleeping space for the whole family.

You simply can't beat this house.

15 minutes from Kohler, home of the world famous American Club & restaurants. It also features Shopping, Spa and Whistiling Straits Golf Course. Sheboygan features a great downtown area. Experience the best that Wisconsin has to offer, without the long drive, at this pristine beach house only 40 minutes from Milwaukee and 2 hours from Chicago!

The Sand Castle Beach House underwent a $30,000 shoreline repair in the Winter of 2020, coupled with much lower lake levels. We now have a sandy beach back! As soon as the lake drops a little further, a walkway will be built down to the lower beach, providing easier access to the walkable sandy beach!!

The house is just beautiful! Lots of outdoor lighting comes in the windows. The master bedroom is awesome! Kitchen had everything that we needed. The outdoor furniture was great! The best part was how close it was to get to the beach! We saw the most beautiful sunrises both mornings that we were there! Also, Uber is available to get a ride to Sheboygan and the American Club in Kohler. We had dinner at the Horse and Plow there and it was very good. Would definitely go back again!

House was great, plenty of room. We were able to park in the garage. Everything shown in the listing was available. TV was hard to figure out. Outside of house and grounds need more care. Communication with host was fine before we arrived but questions we had when we were there were never answered.

Fabulous time at the Sandcastle!! Communication was great house was lovely beach was amazing!! Lots of outside seating options, beds were comfortable, house was roomy and game room was super fun! Definitely would recommend!!

Great location. Beach was wonderful. House was beautiful & unique. There was a problem with the front door lock but Jason had it fixed right away. He was very friendly & helpful. I would bring my family back. My dog had plenty of room to roam outside.

We need more days! 4 of us girls @ 70yrs old - Absolutely Beautiful location but a lot of stairs for our older knees - couldn’t find the basement/gameroom door - later discovered it was in the garage behind the entry way door. Extremely well stocked home - one little disappointment (probably not the owners fault) but we did ask specifically if they had a blender- answer yes - but when we went to use it, it was cracked and broken! Bummer but over all

Million Dollar View

We loved our week at the Sandcastle house! The house worked perfectly for 4 adults and 2 little dogs - comfortable, everyone slept well, good showers, large spaces, very well stocked kitchen. All we needed to bring was beach towels. But the real star here is the deck, view and beach leading to the clear lake. The view was gorgeous all day, every day, we had the beach almost completely to ourselves, the water was super cold but we still went in. We really spent every day outside on the deck, yard or beach and can't wait to be back there again soon.

Wonderful getaway!

We had a wonderful time with family, celebrating our retirement. The house is huge with plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 kids. The master suite is so relaxing! The beach, backyard, fire pit and deck were the biggest hit for us. The game room came in handy on a rainy day. We all loved our time at the Sandcastle!!!!

This setting cannot be beat! Gorgeous, unrestricted views of Lake Michigan; large, well-maintained yard; neighbors are far enough away and blocked by foliage so it feels completely private; pristine, soft sand beach. The house is flooded with light and tastefully decorated. Be aware that there are lots of steps (even on the multi-level first floor), if that is an issue for little ones or people with physical challenges. Indoors and outdoors, it was equipped with everything we needed and more, and there was plenty of space for the 9 of us (5 adults, 2 teens, and 2 toddlers). The basement game room was cool with all the fun activities. I think people would enjoy it even more if the host added some carpeting and seating to make it more comfortable to hang out in. Highlights for us were the beach, yard games, time around the fire pit, and having a beautiful, comfortable house to come into where we could still see and hear the lake. Overall, it was a beautiful place to spend a lakeside vacation and we had a marvelous time!

Beautiful property on an amazing lot with incredible views! Home was very clean well stocked and just as pictured. If you consider staying there, please consider making hummingbird food for the feeder that the owner kindly left in tree…There were so many hummingbirds that also added to the beauty!

Beautiful scenic beach, you forget you're in the Midwest.

This is our first time here in the area, the beach house had everything that we needed, very clean and spacious for my party. The beach and sunrise are breathtaking. Makes you forget that you're actually in the upper Midwest. We had a great time relaxing, exploring and fishing. Would definitely come again.

Beautiful home and location!

Beautiful house on fantastic beachfront. Very relaxing and quiet location. Gorgeous sunrises. Nice selection of cookware for preparing meals. Closet full of games for the family to play. Large deck with plenty of seating. I give this house my highest recommendation.
