  • Located in the village of Marušici, directly on the Adriatic Sea's coast and less than an hour from Split, Villa Darling provides comfortable accommodation for your holiday. We are situated between the picturesque small towns of Omiš and Makarska. Use us as a base to explore the beautiful central Dalmatia region. The entire region has stunning beaches with crystal clear waters, two of which are within a 10-minute walk from the villa. Jogging and mountain bike trails in the village also offer spectacular views.

    All three bedrooms have double beds. There are also two sofas which can be opened into 140x200 beds as well as two full bathrooms. The kitchen comes equipped with a stove, microwave, plates, glasses and all the utensils you need. All linens are provided to you, including separate towels for the pool area. Other amenities included in your rate are air conditioning, high speed wifi and a large parking area for multiple vehicles.

    The outside area has a swimming pool with a large terrace that is partly covered and includes a barbecue grill for outside cooking. A smaller terrace is also available around the corner right next to our small garden blooming with Mediterranean flowers. Discreet maintenance of the pool and grounds is provided daily.

    Your hosts are very knowledgeable about the area, have maps and brochures available for you about local attractions and help in any way you need so that you can have the vacation of your dreams!

Great Pool and outdoor area. Stunning view. Good base to go places. Hosts excellent and very helpful/knowledgeable - they make sure all is okay with you at regular points during your stay. Very clean with modern bathrooms/small kitchen Could do with a nice sofa in living room and a few comfy chairs

Tout était parfait

Merci a nos hôtes qui nous ont très bien accueillis. La maison est parfaitement bien équipée, il ne manquait rien. Beaucoup de conseils tout au long de notre séjour. Plages magnifiques à proximité, la piscine avec vue sur mer a été fortement apprécié par toute la famille. Je recommande vivement cette location !

Das Haus liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders schön ist die Terrasse mit Pool, die direkt am Haus liegt.Der Weg zum Strand führt über einige Treppen und ist daher etwas anstrengend, vor allem auf dem Rückweg bergauf. Mit dem Auto erreicht man jedoch in wenigen Minuten andere Strände, die leichter zugänglich sind.Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist hervorragend – in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt (Kaffeemaschine, Herd, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank). Lediglich eine Waschmaschine fehlt, was aber nur ein kleines Manko ist.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schöner Strand in der Nähe

Wir waren zum ersten mal in Kroatien und es hat sich echt gelohnt! Das Meer ist der Hammer,das Wasser so klar. Die Unterkunft genau wie beschrieben und sehr Sauber. Wir würden jeder Zeit immer wieder kommen. Jane und ihr Mann sind wirklich sehr sehr nett,man kann sie zu jeder Zeit kontaktieren und sie kümmern sich direkt. Top!! Liebe Grüße aus dem Saarland:-)

Herzliche Gastgeber - tolle Wohnung

Schönes gepflegtes Haus mit funktioneller Ausstattung. Toller Pool - sehr sauber. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen an der wunderschönen Küste Dalmatiens. Kleiner Wehrmutstropfen: Durchgangsstraße ist deutlich hörbar. Zwei schöne Strände sind in der Nähe. Steiler Zugang mit vielen Treppenstufen. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder…

Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Als alleiniger Mieter hat man das ganze Haus und den Außenpool für sich alleine. Dieser ist auch nicht einsehbar, so dass man sich zu keiner Zeit irgendwie gestört/beobachtet fühlt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was für die Selbstversorgung nötig ist. Und falls doch etwas außerplanmäßiges benötigt wird, werden die außergewöhnlich netten Vermieter ihr Bestes geben, es möglich zu machen. Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist Fußläufig zu erreichen, die Preise sind auch nicht überzogen. Die Steillage des Ortes ermöglicht einen traumhaften Ausblick von der Terrasse und vom Pool aus, aber der Weg zurück vom sehr schönen Strand zum Ferienhaus ist, nennen wir es mal Anspruchsvoll. Wahrscheinlich aber von der Fitness des Einzelnen abhängig. Zusammengefasst: absolut Empfehlenswert

Tolle Wohnung, nette Gastgeber - perfekt!

Wir - eine Paar (41,47) mit zwei Kindern (4 und 10) - haben eine Woche in diesem schönen und blitzsauberen Apartment verbracht. Jane und Mladen sind ausgesprochen nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die auch eine Menge Tipps und Ratschläge für uns hatten. Die beiden wohnen im zweiten Stock über dem Apartment, unterhalb ist ein weiteres Apartment und eine Einzimmerwohnung. Jane hat uns mit viel Charme empfangen und eine perfekte Einweisung gegeben. Alles ist tipp-topp gepflegt, beim Pool mit Panoramablick stehen Liegen, eine Dusche, ein Sonnenschutzdach und ein Grill zu Verfügung. Der Ausblick aus den Zimmern auf die Insel Brac und das Biokovo-Gebirge weiter südlich ist beeindruckend. Gleich in der Nähe sind mehrere wunderschöne kleine Strände. Die muss man sich allerdings verdienen, da sie tief unterhalb liegen und nur über eine kurze steile Straße und dann über gut 200 Stufen erreichbar sind. Gut, dass da nach dem Rückweg bergauf der Pool wieder für Abkühlung sorgt. Marusici ist ein Siedlungsgebiet an einem steilen Abhang ohne richtiges Zentrum - wer Abends essen und bummeln gehen will, fährt am besten ins alte Städtchen Omis (ca. 15min Richtung Split) oder findet in die andere Richtung das riesige Tourismusgebiet der Markarska-Riviera, die ca. 10 Fahrminuten weiter südlich beginnt. Ein kleiner Supermarkt, ein Cafe und eine kleine Konoba sind in Marusici vorhanden, allerdings muss man an der stark befahrenen Hauptstraße entlang gehen. Viele interessante Ausflugsziele wie die Cetina-Schlucht oder die Karstseen von Imotski sind schnell erreichbar, auch die Autobahn im Hinterland (ca. 20min). Jane und Mladen haben uns am Urlaubsende herzlich verabschiedet und sogar einen Tag später nochmals nachgefragt, ob wir sicher und gut nach Hause gekommen sind. Kurz gesagt - wer einen entspannten Urlaub in einem tollen Apartment bei netten Menschen verbringen möchte, ist bei Jane und Mladen bestens aufgehoben. Danke euch beiden! Wunderschöner Meerblick mit Pool, ein Ort zum Verweilen

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in der Villa Darling genossen. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und modern eingerichtet, man bewohnt das Untergeschoss des Hauses und hat eine tolle Terrasse mit Pool und überdachtem Freisitz, um dort Mahlzeiten einnehmen zu können. Der gemauerte Grill beherbergt eine Gas-Lava-Kombination, auf dem man direkte Grillgerichte zubereiten kann. Die Vermieter Jane & Mladen sind herzliche und sehr freundliche Leute, stets verfügbar - sie bewohnen den obersten Teil des Hauses, der mittlere Teil blieb bei uns frei und wird nur mitvermietet, wenn größere Familien eine Unterkunft suchen. Bis auf eine Kaffeemaschine und eine Spülmaschine ist alles vorhanden, zwei Fernseher - welche wir nicht nutzten - wifi, zwei Duschbäder, drei Schlafzimmer, eine kleine Küche, ein Wohn- / Esszimmer und die wundervolle Terrasse mit Pool und einem tollen Ausblick auf Kroatische Adria, Biokovo Gebirge und die Insel Brač. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Schönes Haus in schöner Lage mit sehr netten Gastgebern

Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gepflegt und in gutem Zustand. Die teilüberdachte Terasse mit Meerblick und Pool ist sensationell. Der Weg zur Küste ist zwar steil, aber zu Fuß gut machbar. Man kann 2 verschiedene Strände ansteuern. Es gibt Kies statt Sand, was aber auch Vorteile hat, weil der Kies nicht an den Füßen klebt. Es war schön ruhig, als wir am Anfang September da waren. Wer nicht zu viel Touristentrubel möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Hervorheben möchte ich die sehr nette Gastgeberin, die jederzeit ansprechbar war, wenn wir eine Frage hatten. Ich kann das Haus nur rundum weiterempfehlen.

Das Apartment und der Poll-/Gartenbereich waren sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber Jane und Mladen sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Leider gibt es im Apartment kein Wohnzimmer, was uns bei schlechten Wetter bzw. starken Wind aufgefallen ist. Ansonsten kann man die Zeit gut im Poll-/Gartenbereich verbringen. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub!

Clean, quiet, great view!

Very clean, modern property with a great outdoor patio, pool and amazing view. Having the pool was a plus! Located on a quiet street. We were able to get to Brela and Omis very easily. Property owners were helpful before and during our stay with recommendations for activities. Would recommend this property to others.

Piękne nowoczesne mieszkanie w spokojnej okolicy poza miastem. Mieszkanie położone jest na górze i dlatego trzeba kilka minut dojść do pięknej plaży. Właściciele bardzo się o nas troszczyli żebyśmy mieli wszystko czego potrzeba, bardzo mili ludzie. Polecam

Most Wonderful Family Holiday.

We have just returned from the most wonderful family holiday at Villa Darling. We spent 3 blissful weeks there and could certainly have spent another 3 there! We stayed in the large 3 bedroom apartment which was absolutely immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The views from the apartment were to die for, wonderful to wake up every morning with that view! Jane and Malden were exceptional hosts. Thank you so much Jane for helping us do so much with every aspect of our holiday. From amazing airport directions to the property as well as fantastic advice as what to do in the area. Lots of information leaflets, maps etc were in the apartment waiting for us which was extremely helpful. I cannot stress how lovely Jane and Malden were. So helpful and NOTHING was too much trouble. One day there was a storm and Jane popped some DVDS outside our door for our children to watch. So thoughtful and really appreciated. The area itself is very beautiful and very quiet. Perfect place to explore the area and we managed to explore rather a lot. Trips to Split, Dubrovnik, lots of ancient ruins (Game of Thrones fan here), beautiful hikes, kayaking and boat trips. The local beach which is approximately 5 mins walk away is outstanding. Worth several visits. Jane kindly put in our apartment sun umbrellas as well as beach mats which were great. The swimming pool at the villa is fantastic. Gorgeous views and lovely and clean. The area around the pool has a lovely built in BBQ as well as sun loungers, table and chairs. The apartment itself is fantastic. Lovely comfortable beds, very spacious and a well equipped kitchen. The balcony was very large with wonderful views. There was a sun lounger, table and 2 chairs as well as a clothes airer. Thank you both for a wonderful holiday. We were all very sad to leave and hope to return again. Perfekter Urlaub!

Sehr schöne, ruhige Ferienwohnung. Sehr modern und sauber. Tolle Terrasse, mit Pool, Sitzgelegenheiten, Grill und fantastischem Ausblick. Noch nie so tolle, nette und hilfsbereite Menschen wie die Vermieter, Jane und Mladen kennen gelernt. Wir haben mit vier Erwachsenen unseren Urlaub dort verbracht und sind uns einig. Er war perfekt, mitunter Dank Jane die uns sehr bereitwillig bei unserer Freizeitgestaltung unter die Arme gegriffen hat. Danke für die tolle Woche. Jederzeit wieder!! Mycket fin lägenhet med bedårande utsikt

Vi har hyrt lägenheten på 4 rok i 2 veckor. . Från balkongen längs hela långsidan har man en bedårande panoramautsikt över adriatiska havet. Poolen var mycket uppskattad av barnen såväl som oss vuxna. Lugnt läge i byn men samtidigt nära till både Split och Makarska var ytterligare en fördel. Värdparet var synnerligen hjälpsamma med tips och förslag på utflykter. Familjen Sandberg rekommenderar detta som ett mycket bra boende.

Charm and Bliss!

Fantastic modern, clean apartments with the comforts of home. Hosts Jane and Mldan made our stay most comfortable- wonderful and generous hosts! Excellent pool area our kids loved after a long day at beach! BBQ area close to appartment and easy to use and acces. Highly recommend!

Excellent accueil

Jane nous a fait un excellent accueil avec un descriptif de la location et des activités à faire dans la région. Elle a su être attentive et à l'écoute de nos besoins tout au long du séjour tout en étant respectueuse de notre tranquilité. Et encore bravo et merci pour le dégustation de la tarte aux amandes et chocolat de la maman de Maddlen.
