Haven in Midtown's Historic Morton Meadows

Family owned and operated. We take care of you! Unique 1925 home located in the historic Morton Meadows neighborhood of Midtown Omaha. Our comfortable, cozy house features plenty of room to relax, with original hardwood floors, and 13-foot, exposed wood living room ceiling. The Spanish/mission revival style is highlighted by a unique floor-to-ceiling fireplace. You will feel right at home.

3 Queen-sized beds! Two queens and full bath on the main floor, plus a lower level queen bed with it's own Roku TV, desk, and half bath. Ample dining and living rooms make it perfect for couples, families, and professionals working remotely. Hang out in the spacious backyard with gas grill and outdoor seating for spring, summer, and fall enjoyment or have your morning coffee on the front porch in tree-lined tranquility.

This safe, upscale neighborhood is a short distance from the Blackstone District and Midtown Crossing shops, restaurants, and outdoor spaces. Only 10 minutes to downtown and the Old Market. The neighborhood is home to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and the nearby entertainment and dining offerings of Aksarben Village. Just minutes from Baxter Arena to the west and Creighton University to the east.

The individual booking the property MUST be a guest during the entire stay. Booking for guests other than yourself is not permitted. Stays of more than two weeks must be approved in advance.

Host was very welcoming! House was well supplied. Kitchen had everything we needed.we enjoyed the vintage light switches. It was very cold and snowy while we were there. The host came over multiple times to clear snow and make sure the paths weren’t slippery. The house was cozy despite the cold.Very convenient location to the area if you have a car. Hope to return in 2026!

Great Getaway!

We stayed for a long weekend, had a fantastic time. The zoo is amazing and Old Market was neat. The property is so unique and very comfortable. We stayed over the 4th and were able to see tons on fireworks right from the front steps. A great time was had.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

The house is absolutely beautiful, the neighborhood is lovely, and the host is readily available for any questions. We didn't arrive in Omaha until very late on our check-in day, and the host was very kind, understanding, and made sure she was available even at that late hour. If I'm ever back in Omaha, this will be my first choice.

Beautiful home in a distinctive historic neighborhood.

The house had everything we needed. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed taking walks. We also took advantage of the patio furniture in the front to do a little "porch-sitting." We would stay here again.enjoyed

Family Easter in Omaha

We stayed here and celebrated Easter with some family in Omaha. The house itself is a beautiful, vintage home in a lovely neighborhood. Conveniently located for exploring the area. Quick drive to the airport, old market, Creighton University and the Lauritzen Gardens. Would stay again.

Vintage House a Gem

We loved our stay at the Haven in Midtown's Historic Morton Meadows. Beautiful area. Comfortable and warm home with everything we needed. Truly appreciated all of the vintage details that have been preserved while also being kept warm by a modern and new furnace! Also appreciated the very detailed check-in and check-out instructions. Very helpful.We stayed on the main floor during our visit so cannot speak to the basement or upstairs. The location is absolutely perfect for a visit to Omaha as we were within 15-20 minutes of all the places in the city we wanted to go. Incredibly quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Cozy, simple, perfect.

Very nice stay. Home was very nice and in a great neighborhood. We were always on the go and wished we had more time to wind down, relax, and enjoy the home! This was my first vacation home rental and was a great experience with this home and host.

Morton Meadows was perfect for our family. It is such a cute house with everything we needed to complete our visit. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, we'd come back to this on our next visit. The hosts were very helpful and communicative.

Adorable Home & Very Helpful Owner

This house was perfect for our family of four! It was in a quaint, safe neighborhood and within 10 minutes of all of Omaha’s biggest attractions. The owner, Mary, was incredibly helpful, giving us info on local restaurants and sights suited to teenagers. The home itself was clean and had all the basic necessities. We would stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Omaha!
