"This hotel is showing its age, but it was clean. The breakfast was okay with some hot and cold options, but not spectacular. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, helping us navigate the uncertainty of a loved one admitted to the Foothills hospital."

"-Room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable, sheets were nice and soft, and the in-room microwave, fridge, and coffee maker were all modern and easy to use. The bathroom was bright and clean with the only downside being that the fan wasn't able to be turned on and off for white noise. -Staff were lovely on all interactions with them. "We chose the Hotel Arts Kensington since it was within walkable distance to the peace bridge and local parks. What we found out when we got there was that the hotel is surrounded by construction so we ended up with an ok hotel at very high prices with construction around it. The breakfast was also basic at best. Hotel prices may be high in Calgary but we certainly did not get value from this stay. The room was nice but poorly lit."

"A lot of extra expenses that are not covered. Parking being number 1. Its an extra $36 to park a vehicle for 18hrs overnight, when the sign clearly says $24 daily rate. Plus the restaurant is very expensive for the portions that you receive. The room itself was great, but the added little things make it a much worse “deal” then it initially says."
