"This was an excellent stay; Alma is a smaller hotel with a unique vibe. The room was furnished very nicely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very quite and clean. It was not beat up or worn out; everything had a high end and new feel. The rooftop patio and restaurant were great and the location is ideal in old San Juan. "Check-in was a complete breeze.The rooms were perfectly appointed. The beds were very comfortable. Even though there was street noise, we did not find that interfered with our sleep in any way. The air conditioners worked perfectly and we were very comfortable. The rooms were very clean also. And the location cannot be beat! All in all we thought it was a perfect place to stay."

"Stayed for 5 days and 4 nights for my boyfriend's birthday. The room was very clean. The staff was so nice! The amenities were amazing! We did have a small issue getting towels for pool but a staff member was very helpful with that. We were very close to everything, maybe 8 minutes from the beach. We rode scooters from the hotel to get there. The shuttle was very helpful as well and helped us save money. I would definitely recommend but please be aware of the $30 a day fee."

"Beautiful property right at the edge of busy Old SJ. Close enough that everything was just a short walk, but a little further so you miss most of the street revelers at night. Beds were comfortable, the place was clean and relaxing. The owner was great with answering questions. There is a small 24h patking garage (la Cochera) on the next block. Stop and ask about a spot even if the sign says the garage is full (they found us a spot)."
