"If you want to stay in a memorable location, look no further than the Red Caboose Motel. The rooms are clean and offer many amenities on the property. They even have a petting zoo and offer buggy rides (for a fee). The restaurant served excellent food. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay and to watch the Strasburg Rail Road trail travel by several times a day. I would highly recommend staying here. "

"We stayed in the Pierce room… it was really nice… old but we liked the old charm. They gave us breakfast at the Speckled Hen across the road,( we just walked over) which was also nice. A lot to do very close by also. "

"One night stay found a friendly staff, clean room, and comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok and appreciated a hot delicious cup of coffee at any time. Will stay again when we visit the area."

"I was happy that i was able to change my room to the second floor. first floor room had a machine that absorbs humidity and you have to dump the water when its full. the room needs a new rug. There was black mold in shower. my upstairs room was great!"

"I was completely surprised at how very nice this hotel is. We spend quite a bit of time in the Lancaster area, though this was our first time here. Indoor and outdoor pools. We used the indoor pool as it is early in the season and a rainy couple of days. Pool was chilly but not too cold. Loads of fresh towels ready as soon as you come out. Lounge chairs all around.
