Cozy cabin on a creek

Our family enjoyed our stay in this cabin which has a beautiful creek in the back. It might need a little updating but overall it is a solid choice if you are in the area.

Thanksgiving trip

Our family really enjoyed the quiet location and the creek in the backyard. The house is in great shape, roomy, and the kitchen worked well for preparing our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Pictures do not do it justice!

The pictures on the property listing do not do it justice! Every aspect of the property was amazing! Our kids loved the waterfall and the house was beautiful and clean and close to a lot of area highlights! Would definitely recommend this property to friends and may be back to visit!

Check in process is easy. Very clean house on beautiful property. Wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out and relax. Creek/waterfall in the back yard is beautiful. If I make it back to NC this will be a place I would stay again.

Comfortable and Serene

This house was both comfortable and Serene. Located a short distance off the interstate in a quiet neighborhood, once we entered the property we felt we were in our own retreat. With the creek gurgling in the background this property was as I had hoped and expected. The house itself was comfortable and well equipped for our stay and had plenty of space when our family came to spend time with us and share meals.

Exactly what we needed!

My husband and I wanted to get away for some relaxation with our daughters, ages 12 and 10. This property was exactly what we needed! It was clean and comfortable, we slept in every morning and relaxed by the fire every night! The location was great, being close enough to Asheville and the Biltmore to spend the day but far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Our girls loved the sounds of the creek and waterfall in the back! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape!

Great house !

Loved the stream and waterfall! Nice roomy house perfect for a multi-generational family to get away for a few days. Good location for visits to St James State Park and Asheville (and don't miss the Hillman brewery in town)!

MACKEY CREEK

Lovely property, infact i would want the exact land layout with the creek , so cool we hung out in the creek , water is steady cold but we went in anyway. Also had a nice fire going in using the fire pit. Property is 30 to 1.5 mins away from all the places we toured. Quite place. Will schedule another visit to same property if were to visit Ashiville.

Great house and property

We had a very relaxing week here with 2 children and another family with 1 child. This is a beautiful house on a great, relaxing property with easy access to Old Fort, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Fireplaces, beautiful creek, lovely house, and close to tons of hiking

The house was lovely and comfortable. It was just the two of us, so we really didn't even go into two of the three bedrooms. The back decks were wonderful and we loved the creek, and the little waterfalls that we could hear and see from the house. We really wanted to start a fire in the firepit by the creek but we were so tired from hiking every day that we never got around to it. We ventured all over the place and there were lots to see. We focused on hiking waterfalls and there were plenty around. One day was kinda rainy so we drove over to Boone. Great side trip. Loved our stay.

amazing privacy

If you are looking for a well spaced, private retreat in the wilderness with your own private “pool” made out of nature’s wonder look no further. I took five teenagers to this home and they loved every minute of it. Swimming, hiking, playing board games. It was perfect! i can’t wait to come back in the fall when the leaves change!

Amazing home and stream with waterfalls!

Even better than the pictures! Clean, modern, comfortable, beautiful home with lovely landscaping. Owners have given so much attention to detail...even lightswitches are labeled. Gorgeous hardwood floors. Very nice linens. Can hear waterfalls from back porch. The creek is more like a larger stream, and has an area deep enough to swim in. We loved it!

Off the beaten path

The property itself was wonderful, nice and clean and updated. However, getting to any local attractions, you have to deal with long, narrow winding roads. Needless to say, it took about an hour to get to any of the well known trails and Asheville itself. Our grandchildren loved splashing in the creek and there were plenty of games and activities to do at the house.

Lovely stay at Amazing Grace

We really enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace! Nice set up for our family of 4 and my husbands parents- plenty of space for all! Creek was lovely and swimmable which was especially nice in heat of summer! Tubes were fun for floating in the creek. Very well kept and comfortable home and responsive rental agency!

Perfect spot

It was so clean, the mattresses were comfortable. They have everything you need. We even played games that they had in the adorable screen porch. The creek in the back of the property was awesome! My son and husband fished ! It’s close to Black mountain and such a quaint spot. We would definitely stay again !!

The Backyard

The house was great, especially the backyard with a bonfire and waterfalls! The kids at age 7 and 4 had a blast there and they used the swimming tubes for floating in a creek!

Magical Place!

Exactly what we needed for a week away! The house is lovely and had everything we needed. The outside space is AMAZING. Can't wait to go back!
