First Lake Waterfront Home in Old Forge, New York

Come enjoy this beautiful waterfront home situated on 1 acre of private land. Perfect for 2 families; one large family or a special retreat for a couple who wants plenty of space for themselves! The property features magnificent lake views, 100' boardwalk, large dock for tying up your boat, quiet sandy beach for swimming and kayaking (we provide 2 kayaks, paddles and lifevests), two large porches, large flat lawn for outdoor activities, 4 bedrooms (two of which are private master suites), loft area with full size futon, 3 full bathrooms, an ample great room with cathedral ceilings, living room with an electric potbellied stove, kitchen, and large dining area. High speed internet/cable included.

The home has beautiful knotty pine throughout and rustic furnishings that provide a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences.

Winter Get Away

What a perfect place to stay! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We had plenty of space for our big family of 9. We had great communication with our host. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Great house for the family trip

The best of everything

It's a perfect place for a weekend, week or a month. The home, the views and the hosts combine to make it a great experience. You won't want to leave, even to go to the store. :) The hosts are welcoming, responsive and professional. The town remains charming, and the lake is as great as ever.

We rented this house for our Old Forge snowmobile trip this year and the house was spectacular. Rick was very accommodating and we lucked out and had great snow conditions.

A great week

We have visited many times now, and it has become something of a tradition to stay at Northern Oasis. We have always loved the house, it’s location in regards to town and the water! The DeLeos are wonderful owners and we are so grateful to have the chance to rent this house every year.

Stunning, cozy lake living

The property was immaculate and in a gorgeous yet private area, close to town. Whatever the season or your occasion, we highly recommend. The owners were prompt with any questions or requests and allowed us to check in early on arrival to be able to get in an extra day of snowmobiling.

Best Location

This was our 2nd year staying at this property! We won't stay anywhere else in Old Forge! The location is close to everything but still private! The furnishings and bedrooms are the perfect layout for families and the backyard overlooking the lake is nice and flat. We rented a pontoon boat and docked it right there. Will be booking every year for the family vacay!

Awesome spot on the Water

My family and I loved this spot, it was perfect for the grandkids to play in the shallow water and great for docking our boat and taking it out on the lakes. Very close too town and all the shops. Great view in the morning to have our coffee on the outside deck, just Beautiful!!!

Fantastic

This house was beautiful, spotless, cozy, wonderful....and close to the trails, downtown, everything! The only thing missing was a fireplace. Great house, would definitely recommend highly!!
