Located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, this lodge is conveniently located near the A30, meaning the stunning cathedral city of Exeter is easy to reach within 20 miles for an array of restaurants and a choice of shops. Closer by and within 2 miles is the town of Okehampton, with a choice of shops, takeaways, and supermarkets, as well as specialist shops catering for walkers, cyclists, and climbers. Dartmoor offers miles of scenic walks for all abilities, ranging from easy strolls to challenging hikes and climbs. Also within 20 miles are multiple market towns such as Launceston and Tavistock, along with attractions including Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct, Okehampton Castle, the Miniature Pony Centre, and Crealy Adventure Park.


This stunning lodge is accessed via a small flight of external wooden steps. Upon stepping inside you will find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This tastefully styled room boasts a Smart TV, comfortable sofas and a dining table seating four to enjoy a home cooked meal. Large patio doors let the light flood in and allow guests to extend this area in the warmer months onto the decked terrace. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need during your stay to create a hearty meal and comprises an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Tassimo coffee machine and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine. Moving through the lodge will bring you to the two beautiful bedrooms, the first of which is a spacious double room with a smart TV, and an en-suite shower room with a WC. The next and final bedroom is a cosy twin room and located next to this is a family bathroom featuring a shower over the bath and a WC.


Moving outside the lodge will bring you to a decked terrace, a brilliant place to relax with a drink at the end of a sunny day. A table and chairs also make it possible for guests to enjoy al fresco meals and this is where you will find the private hot tub, a welcome luxury after a day of exploring the local area, so why not relax under the stars. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided. A BBQ is available on request - charges apply.
