The Sweet Spot ~ G120 at NCV

The Sweet Spot is a special south-facing getaway that affords privacy and serenity. This 762-square-foot property is beautifully updated with a contemporary feel; the interior is stylish yet comfortable, and features a stunning stone fireplace wall. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper with a memory foam mattress, a chair, and a recliner. The kitchen has been updated with Corian countertops and stainless appliances, and is equipped with dishes, new cookware, serving pieces and utensils.

The bedroom has an Eastern King bed, with extra blankets, luggage racks, and there is a gorgeous updated bathroom with Corian counters and glass tile backsplash. There are ceiling fans in all rooms as well as extra tower and pedestal fans in the closets.

You'll find two Smart TV's, cable television, and Cox wireless internet, all provided free for your convenience and entertainment. One reserved parking space in the underground garage comes with this condo.

When you're ready to hit the beach, there are beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler.

Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.

North Coast Village is located between the Oceanside Harbor and the Oceanside Pier, and is a favorite destination for both couples and families from around the world. The complex consists of nine 4-story buildings surrounded by 2-story cottages, on several acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. You are just steps from the sand; there are no roads to cross-this is an OCEANFRONT COMPLEX! Swim in the Olympic sized heated pool (one of two pools and spas), or enjoy a romantic walk on one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in Southern California.

Experience spectacular sunsets and enjoy a relaxing dinner along the picturesque adjacent harbor which features several excellent restaurants, great live music, and fun and unique shopping. There are also kayak, boat, and paddle boat rentals, and fishing or whale watching excursions.

Parties or events are not allowed at this property.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1, and and the Sunset Market Thursday evenings from 5-9.

North Coast Village offers a fitness center with sauna, and a barbecue area overlooking the pool for parties. You will also find reserved garage parking, cable television, a recreation center, clubhouse with kitchen, massive stone fireplace and cedar walls, as well as laundry facilities.

Within a short drive, visit Disneyland & California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Balboa Island, La Jolla, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission Luis Rey, Queen Mary, San Diego State Parks, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Sea World, The Flower Fields of Carlsbad, Temecula Wine Country, San Diego Zoo, Del Mar Racetrack, Coronado Island, Oceanside Harbor, Birch Aquarium at Scripp's Institute of Oceanography, and Palomar Observatory.

The smell… like grandma’s damp basement- condo G120 AND they shut the water off

The grounds were beautiful, easy access to the beach, the condo was nicely updated, kitchen well appointed, beds were comfy BUT- the smell!! The entire condo smelled like grandma’s damp basement! You could smell it in the hallway outside too. Very disappointing, especially for the price paid. We had hoped opening the windows would improve the smell, but it did not! We spent as much time as possible outside. This is clearly something the management is aware of, you can’t miss the smell. There must be some type of water leakage in the building. I went through the hallways in the other units and did not notice similar damp odors. And to top it off, on the morning of check out, the water was shut off at 9am, with a 10am check out time. I’m hope the reason for this was to solve the musty odor problem.

This condo was great!Beautiful views and greatly located.All the amenities were nice too, nice heated pool and Jacuzzi. It is a beautiful property with lush vegetation and palm trees. It is right on the popular Strand Beach in Oceanside. This unit was greatly located and quiet.I would certainly like to return. SJ Tucson

My wife and I have stayed in this unit several times. The living room is very comfortable. The bed is excellent. The kitchen is very well stocked. I recommend this unit.

Indoor accommodations adequate, but worn. Kitchen not very clean. The master bed frame is a hazard to tripping! The pipes in shower/toilet room very noisy after flushing. Beautiful decorations and furnishings are good.

Nice location, walk to restaurants and beach. Usual dampness by the beach being so close. All in all great place to stay. Just bring your own drinking water. Bathroom water and a pungent smell to it.

Oceanside Getaway

We’ve stayed in this unit several times. The living room is very comfortable nice leather chairs and a large sofa. We found the king-sized bed to be very comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed. This unit doesn’t have much of a view, but on the other hand, it is in a quiet location, which we prefer. We enjoyed our stay and will book this unit again.

North Coast Village

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed in this unit. Communication is very easy. The property management is responsive and easy to reach. The unit is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We will continue to rent here on our visits to Oceanside.

This unit was the perfect size!!! Very roomy. Very clean. Very calming. The furniture is extremely comfortable! The amenities are great! Proximity to everything. If I come back to this area I would stay at this unit time & time again!! Response from owners with questions was quick.

Super nice place and great location right on the beach and harbor. Only complaint is it was a little hot without AC but there are ceiling fans in the condo. Community pool and game room are great.

Comfortable condo

The condo was in a nice resort like setting near the boat harbor. Lush well kept a secure resort. The condo was nicely decorated and had all the things you could need. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom needs some repair in the shower area, there is some water damage from the shower to the vinyl floor and floor trim.

Overall good, a few improvements needed

Bed was comfortable and space is well appointed. We especially liked all of the extra blankets throughout, since our three day stay was fairly cold and rainy, unfortunately We loved using the fireplace and found the couch and living room chairs to be super comfy, though they are starting to show some wear. We did find someone’s shirt in one of the dresser drawers, which was a little disconcerting. Some of the dishes stored in the dining area cabinet didn’t seem that clean and needed to be washed before we could use them, which was surprising since everything else was clean in the condo. Lighting at the bathroom vanity area could be improved as is was fairly dim and the extendable lighted mirror would have made a great difference here but it wouldn’t turn on. This is our second time staying at NCV. The location is great and close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. We had fun feeding the ducks around the property, saw some sea lions on a walk a bit to the north, and played a few rounds of mini golf on the property (nice touch to have a few golf clubs and balls in the condo). If we return, we will try another month as it sounds like the beach dredging construction may be an annual thing that goes through all of April and May. We will try again in September.

Comfy and clean

Enjoyed the tropical views from the balcony, the fireplace and the very comfy bed. TV’s in both rooms didn’t have instructions but were intuitive enough to figure out and nice to have for playing music. Heaters in rooms worked but they are on a timer so you do have to reset every couple hours . We enjoyed our stay and had family staying in the same complex so it made it more fun to visit.

Spring Break Staycation

Although the weather was terrible for my kids spring break, we had a great stay. I liked that there were putt putt clubs and balls for the little mini golf course. Sitting on the balcony was nice with all of the beautiful greenery. The bed was amazing! I didn’t want to get out of it. It’s walking distance to the harbor restaurants and shops, and a little farther walk to the pier and the downtown area. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Christmas visit

We are a senior citizen couple visiting family during the Christmas holidays. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay. Though we’ve been to North Coast Village many times over the past 10 years, this was our first visit at Christmastime and our first stay in this unit. NCV does a fantastic job of decorating for the holidays! The living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was small, as all the one bedroom units are, but we’ll equipped. The bed was very comfortable as well. We would definitely rent this unit again.
