Best of Times

We were so pleased with our stay. The house was just as the pictures showed. The ocean front home was steps away from the waves. The four bedrooms and two baths were an excellent fit for us, and the kitchen was FANTASTIC. We "kinda" laughed at the pictures where each plate and utensils were placed.....at first, but it was an EXCELLENT guide for us to replace once used. Our family was so pleased that we plan on making this home our annual gathering place. Thank you for making our Christmas so Merry.

Great house and location

The house and location was great! It had great hang out spots. We played games and able to watch tv all while being close enough to each other for all to be involved but not interrupt each other either. We had 4 generations there and it was great being so close to the sand and ocean that it was easy to take a walk on the beach and go out to play and switch out as well. It was great being so close and being able to go in and out quickly and easily for anything needed. Communication with the host was great! She was available and super nice! House is between the dunes so the sand was right there and there were tall hills of it that blocked some of the view. The boat called and was honest about the one big one that they were dealing with and in process of scheduling in order to have some removed from side of house. We loved the sunroom since we stayed in November and it was great to sit in there when the wind picked up in the afternoon but still see some ocean and sand. It was great going out the back and it wasn’t too bad going up to reach the fire out and the walk down to beach. The house was very well stocked with things needed. The host was great and when we had a little problem with the heater the first night was right on top of getting someone out to fix it right away. She made sure we were taken care of and had what we needed! It was a great stay and we are very excited to come back this summer for another Birthday.

Comfortable and relaxing

Between the dunes is a large comfortable beach house with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is perfect for cooking family meals. The children loved exploring the dunes and the coast. Although we didn’t get sunny days, spending quiet reading time allowed for great relaxation We will hopefully be returning soon

Dreamy Sunroom

Very quaint, lots of room. The sunroom was well decorated and very cozy. The perfect beach house. It is to be noted that the beach is also a pretty active highway with trucks and trailers so you can’t really relax close to the water, but we still enjoyed being tucked away in the sand dunes with a gorgeous view of the ocean.

Relaxing vacation

We really enjoyed our trip to Oceano. This is our third time staying at a rental house on the Strand, and we loved this place. The sunroom was a beautiful place to eat, the fire ring was well located, the bunk room was perfect for the kids, and the piano was a nice bonus. Communication with the renter was great. Thanks for a fun vacation!

Pismo beach wing family reunion

Every year my family and my adult sons family schedule a Wing Family reunion. We tend to alternate between Hawaii and the Pismo Beach area. The property we stayed at could not have a better location. Step out and your on the sand!!!

Oceano beach home exceeded our expectations

We felt very welcome at this home on Oceano beach. The host was very responsive to our questions. The home had everything we needed and more. The home has a nice beach decor and comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the sunroom for morning coffee and dinners on the outdoor deck which was shielded from the wind. The deck led right onto the beach which was perfect for long walks. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this rental.

Fun Beachside home

This house is amazing and very cute beachy decor. It was a great place to celebrate my birthday with friends. Well stocked and clean. It was more spacious than I thought and I loved all the seating on the enclosed porch and outside patio.

Weekend family get-together

Perfectly situated. Very comfortable, with room for group interaction or for reading/napping/just enjoying watching the water. Our son said that the glassed in porch was like being on a cruise ship! We had a great time!

Perfect family beach getaway!

The owners were incredible, can’t say enough about them. Very responsive, answered all questions and have great recommendations! The home was spacious, better than described and we all loved it! The kitchen was filled with all the comforts of home and more! Our kids (pre-teen and teens) had a blast! Loved the location! Very close to Pismo, Avila Beach and SLO also. Would stay again, and highly recommend ♥️

Wonderful on the beach family gathering

The property owners contacted me prior to the stay to verify any questions I had and check in proceedures. They were very helpful. The house was right on the beach and beautifully decorated. Beach themed throughout, fun, elegant, tasteful and so welcoming. Ages were from 16-89 in our party of 9. There was plenty of gathering space to enjoy, spread out, eat, play games and laugh both inside and outside on the back beach patio. A fire ring to use in the sand in the evenings created the perfect marshmallow roasting opportunity for family stories and catching up of the 3 generations and 4 families gathered together. The kitchen was well equiped and wonderfully organized with pictures in drawers and cabinets of contents so we knew where to find things and where to put them back. We cooked all meals during our 4 days so we could just enjoy family time. It was easy to cook for the crowd in the spacious galley kitchen. There were a couple of hiccups that the owners responded to right away and resolved or provided options for workarounds. They were wonderful. We were in town to celebrate a graduation. They even left a sweet gift for the graduate congratulating her. Very thoughtful and appreciated. We all enjoyed our stay and loved the house, the atmosphere and the warmth felt there. Thank you!
