The Space:

Dazzle in the beauty of the Oregon Coast in this cozy, two-bedroom home boasting ocean views and private beach access! Nestled directly oceanfront on a dead-end street, the home boasts private beach access where you can spend your days combing the shoreline while inside, updated appliances and fixtures provide all the comfort and essentials for a peaceful, seaside holiday. The large, open-concept living area is framed by four-panel windows opening toward the ocean, providing strong natural light and gorgeous views. The full kitchen is well-equipped with new, stainless steel appliances and everyone can eat together at the six-seater dining table. Head out to the expansive private deck for sunsets. When weather permits, a lovely garden sitting area can be enjoyed outside, just off the deck. Gather around the huge flatscreen TV in the living room for a movie before heading for bed. This is a perfect getaway, whether you’re looking for rest and relaxation, or a fun-filled Oregon Coast experience.

Everything was as listed. Beautiful view and convenient to everything we needed. Very comfortable for two people.Wished there were two full bathrooms but it worked out for the two of us. Everything else was great and we had a wonderful time.

That stove needs to go. Hard to figure out how to use. The divider in the oven is for what, exactly.?The door doesn't shut properly resulting in the oven light turning on and the heat escaping.The solid fish smell in the ice box was a little too much and your garbage cans were both full, when we arrived and left.Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Except for that door lock which is a bad joke.

This house has a spectacular view, but otherwise needs a lot of care. Additionally the communication with the owner was very poor. We picked this place specifically because it has laundry but when we arrived the washer was broken. There was no communication about this before or during our stay. I ended up spending the time intended for a family holiday gathering alone at a cold laundry mat.

We loved staying here and would stay again. The access to the beach is close and private for the little area of houses. The view is beautiful. It’s in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. On a clear day you can see all the way to Yaquina lighthouse from the balcony. My 6 year old loved the wrap around deck. Having laundry and a kitchen was very helpful. It is close to Newport and easy to find. The beds and couch were comfy. There is no a/c but there are two wall heaters and a couple of small heater/fans in the closet. The house could definitely use a dehumidifier. The fan in the bathroom only wanted to work about ten percent of the time and it is the only way to get the moisture out. We actually went to the local Walmart to get a couple little dehumidifiers to help with the moisture in the house. The sink in the half bath needs to be snaked. You’ll want to shave in the full bath since the half bath one takes a really long time to drain. For some reason the smoke detector was just sitting on the top of the fridge. Not sure if it was working or not.

I want to leave 5 stars so badly because this house is SO CUTE. It is in the perfect location, new appliances, beds were comfortable. But it was SO dirty. I’m so sad because I loved everything about our stay minus the cleanliness. There was dirt and what appeared to be pet hair all over the ground. There was crumbs on the tables. The bathroom faucets desperately needed to be cleaned. It was pretty filthy. I’m bummed we pay for the cleaning fee…. For what exactly?If this house was clean I would give 5 stars EASILY. It’s is so perfect and kid friendly. I would love to stay again - just with fingers crossed they have new cleaners

This house had everything we needed and had a stunning ocean view. I only have one complaint. All the towels smelled pretty bad like they sat in the washer a few days before being dried. Other than that, it was very accommodating. I gave 5 stars because the towels werent a big deal as its on the coast and i realize sometime moisture causes them to do this. We would stay here again regardless. Wonderful house and view.

Miss it already

This was the perfect house for our family of 4 (3 year old and 9 year old). It’s nothing fancy - which I actually love, it made it more relaxing and cozy. Short drive into Newport and a short, easy walk to the beach. The views were stunning. We would definitely stay here again.

South Newport oceanfront home

Amazing view, cute and comfortable home away from home

The four of us stayed and the house was very clean and comfortable, and have everything we needed. You can’t beat the view of the ocean and the access to the beach. Amazing!

West Texans LOVE the Oregon Coast!

The beach house is a great house for a couple. Amazing view of the ocean. Not a fancy house, but has everything you need. The refrigerator ice maker is not hooked up, so you need to provide your own bag of ice.

Not worth the money.

The only thing good about this house is the view. It's very old and nothing has been renovated. Towels, sheets, pillows, are of the cheapest quality. Furniture is old and tired, blinds are broken, windows are dirty, sinks get clogged, I could go on and on. The property is way overpriced. Don't make the same mistake.

Second time here

My spouse and I stayed here last July and were happy to return this year. It's a cozy house with a great view of the ocean and an easy, quick walk to the beach. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck. The house has everything we needed to prepare our own meals and relax. The neighborhood is exceptionally quiet and feels safe. Highly recommended!

Perfect for Us!

House was perfect location to Newport and quick beach access. The wrap-around porch allowed for great views. Cleanliness was good, but some dishes were dirty. Beds were great and appliances updated. Fantastic place to stay!
