Welcome to the award-winning community of Bay Forest! This well-appointed, coastal-style villa features 3 large bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a fully equipped kitchen along with everything you will need for an enjoyable week at the beach. This property is ~5 miles from Bethany Beach and only steps away from first-class amenities.

LAYOUT
The first floor has a large, open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a spacious sunroom with a view of a pond, where you will often see deer, egrets, and herons. There is a comfortable living room, powder room, dining table for six, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

Also located on the first floor is the office/den, which has a large desk and a cozy loveseat. Catch up on your email (~500Mbps download speed!) while you keep an eye on the pond for wildlife!

The master bedroom is located on the first floor and has a king bed, private bath with double vanity, large walk-in closet, smart TV, ceiling fan, and views of the pond.
Bedroom 2 (queen bed) and Bedroom 3 (two twins) are both located upstairs. These two bedrooms share a full bath.

The patio features outdoor dining for six, along with four Adirondack chairs so you can relax with a book during the calm of the morning or a enjoy a drink at the end of the day while listening to the sounds of birds, frogs, and other wildlife.

All indoor and outdoor furniture, mattresses, and the quartz kitchen counter are new in 2022.

In the two-car garage you will find four new beach cruiser bikes (one bike is slightly smaller and ideal for a young tween or teenager), six Tommy Bahama beach chairs, and beach toys. Villa rental includes access to a two-person kayak, which is stored at the Bay Forest Marina, a short bike ride away. Four life vests of varying sizes and a kayak cart to help you launch the kayak are provided. Also located in the garage is a putter and golf balls for the community putting green and a basketball for the nearby courts.


COMMUNITY
Bay Forest amenities are amazing! The closest pool (~100 yards away) offers water slides, fountains, and a lazy river, as well as a separate pool with lap lanes. Inside the adjacent clubhouse, you will find a game room featuring skee ball, air hockey, foosball, and ping pong for when you need a break from swimming. Located near the clubhouse are tennis courts, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, a tot lot, and a putting green. There is also an air-conditioned beach shuttle available to and from Bay Forest during the summer months.

At the second pool, you will find an exercise studio and a well-equipped fitness center with a combination of free weights and machines (treadmills, elliptical, stair climbers, and rowing machines). Next to the pool is a recreational barn that houses a full indoor basketball court which converts into indoor pickleball throughout the week. Bay Forest also offers a newly improved marina where you can launch kayaks, fish, crab, or simply gather for spectacular bay view sunsets at the community hangout area. Over 3 miles of picturesque walking and biking trails wind around and throughout the community, where you will find wildlife, friendly neighbors, and a community herb garden.

Less than two miles from Bay Forest, there are grocery stores, restaurants, mini-golf, golf, ice cream, and liquor stores.

Please note that the Bay Forest community charges $50/person for use of the community amenities. This payment will be paid directly to the Owner with the final payment two weeks prior to arrival.
