This was our 3rd year in Bethany Beach, and we were excited to return to Ocean View Beach Club! This property was booked through First Choice Rentals, and booking was seamless; email communications, do's and don'ts as well as recommendations. Coming from Massachusetts, our 6 hour drive, turned into 8.5 hours. Check-in was not until 3:45 where we had to go to the office and get the key. Again, seamless. At 4:00 we arrived at the property, tired and ready to settle in. We opened the front door and immediately knew something was off. Dirt/sand on the floor when we entered. 1/2 bath right inside the front hall unclean. We made our way down the hall to the kitchen where we were met with dirty counters (crumbs and spills), the stove dirty, floors sticky and sandy as well as rugs. It was evident the cleaning crew had not visited the property prior to us arriving. I called the number listed on our agreement which led right to a voicemail. Thankfully they called back within 5 minutes stating that they were sending somoene out followed by a cleaning crew
