Once you have booked with us, you can expect the following.

1. Receive a reservation confirmation and a copy of our NERV Haven house rules. We will also give access to our recommended itineraries to help you with planning your trip. Feel free to reach out if you wanted to discuss some of what you see or if you had a different idea but needed someone to bounce ideas around with. We love this part of the experience.

2. Roughly 24-hours before your arrival we will provide you with access information. This will include an access code for property entry and the security system, parking instructions, WiFi access, and a digital version of our Welcome Book.

3. The night before checkout we will send you a checkout reminder with a couple things to remember.

4. During your stay, we are primarily available by text. However we are also happy to receive a phone call if something needs urgent attention. Even better, we would be thrilled to help you with any plans you might be unsure about. Your stay is supposed to cause rejuvenation and new vigor, so we will work with you to resolve things in the most understanding and efficient way. You are our guest(s) and we want you to feel treated right!

Ideally located in Ocean Springs, The NERV Haven sits minutes from Front Beach, downtown Washington Avenue shops, the Walter Anderson Museum, and Shearwater Pottery. Guests are close to acclaimed dining at Vestige and Maison de Lu, local cafés, boutiques, and art galleries. Set in a quiet, walkable residential neighborhood, The NERV Haven offers easy access to beaches, cultural landmarks, scenic marsh trails, and the best of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Ocean Springs allows golf carts to be driven throughout the downtown area and even has golf cart specific parking in downtown. We have a local partner who will give you a specific NERV Haven discount on golf cart rentals of 24hrs or more and they will deliver the golf cart to the house. Message to let us know if you would like to get access to this discount code.

- Our two-story home is ideal for those seeking a peaceful, restorative, rejuvenating stay rather than a party-style rental. A tea party however...we encourage that! 😊

- There is a train line that runs through Ocean Springs and the trains do indeed blow their whistles for safety. The sound can be heard throughout the town and we don't want this to be a surprise for you. Our excellent proximity to downtown Ocean Springs places our property close to the train tracks and so the sound of the train can be heard while at The NERV Haven. We have done all we can to reduce its impact, by installing Class A Sound Absorption WoodUpp wall panels in all the bedrooms and in other rooms throughout the house. Also, don’t forget the sound machines. 😊

- We have not outfitted this property with items for a younger family, such as, highchairs and pack & play sleeping equipment, though young families are welcome to bring their own items.

- We adore animals, but this home is a pet-free retreat. If this rule is violated the Guest agrees to immediately forfeit their entire security deposit and to immediately remove the pet from the premises.

- We have strictly enforced no smoking of any kind policy in and on the property – thanks for understanding. There is a $500 fee charged for violation of this rule.

- While we hope our guests won’t intentionally break anything at our vacation rental, we understand accidents can sometimes happen. Always report any accidental damage or breakage in a timely manner, especially before check-out. In case of any accidental damage, we’ll look into the issue to decide if, and how much, the deduction or repair cost will be. In the case of any damage to the property or it’s appliances that are not covered by our insurance, the guest will pay for the repair costs from their security deposit.
