Welcome to Sea Stars and Stripes, a beautifully appointed one-bedroom, one-bathroom beach cottage nestled in the heart of the peaceful Oyhut Bay Seaside Resort. Designed with relaxation and comfort in mind, this cozy retreat offers everything you need to unwind and reconnect—with nature, loved ones, or simply yourself.
The cottage features a light-filled, open-concept living area with a comfy sleeper sofa, smart TV, and a welcoming layout that flows into a fully stocked kitchen. You'll find an oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, cookware, and dishware—perfect for preparing casual meals or enjoying a relaxed morning coffee.
Outside, your private hot tub invites you to soak under the stars after a day of beachcombing or coastal adventures. A Level 2 EV charger is available on-site, and the shared green space offers a communal fire pit and a grassy area for picnics or quiet mornings with a book.

Almost perfect... but the noise was unbearable

*Nearly* everything was exactly as advertised or better. However the entire experience was severely undermined by the absolutely horrific "live music" playing right outside our door for over 6 HOURS on Saturday. We could not sleep or rest, which was the whole point of our trip, due to the nightmarishly incompetent performers blasting their off-key drivel nonstop. I don't know if the performers are related to the owners of the resort or what, I can't imagine how they got hired, but they completely disrupted our entire experience. Had it not been for them I'd have given 5 stars and we'd be returning in the future, but based on this alone we will probably never return.

Happy vacation

Place was excellent location, close to Offices and Grill, also shops. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful to deal with and enjoyable. Had no difficulties with our cottage, nor communicating with any of the staff. Will be back.

Clean and well appointed

My husband and I were hoping for a quiet little place we could just relax in and get away from the every day grind. We were immediately impressed by how clean the place is. It seemed to have everything we could need for a two day visit. The location worked so well for us. We walked through the village and enjoyed looking at all the shops and ate at the grill twice. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean Cozy Cottage

Sea Stars and Stripes Cottage has it all. Every detail and guest need has been thought of and addressed. Fully equipped kitchen complete with cooking spices, open, airy floor plan. Cottage is well organized and super clean.

Nice place

The cottage was nice, seemed new, and was clean. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had just about everything you could need. A very thoughtful touch was the games, puzzles, and movies. Thet helped us pass the time on the super rainy days. Bed and sofa bed were not comfortable for us but I know you can't please everyone in that regard. The hot tub was nice but it's so rainy in Ocean Shores we couldn't use it much. It would have been awesome if there had been a patio umbrella or some kind of overhead protection from the rain. I also liked the fact that they do not allow pets. This is very important to me as I have cat and dog allergies. Overall I think this was a very nice little place and I would come here again. ** I would not book it through VRBO again as it was listed as a 2 berm with 4 beds. Not at all the fault of the owners though.**

Adorable property close to serene beach !

Loved the cottage- extremely well stocked and great to have spa and bikes! - and the restaurant that was steps away was excellent! Live music on Saturday was a highlight. The beach walk out and around Damon Point was wonderful. Great location and comfy cottage!

The cabin was clean, adorable, and comfortable. I was escaping the AZ heat and found exactly what I needed in this cabin in Ocean Shores. The outside chairs were perfect for enjoying the cool ocean air.

Quick ocean trip

The location, cottage, bikes, recreation areas on site and shops nearby were fabulous! We loved the hot tub and had so many in cottage additions. The amount of active construction, 7am starts, we’re surprising as nothing on the booking site stated the site would have multiple cottages being constructed. It just didn’t have the ocean ambiance with a view of the machinery and nail guns going off as you have some coffee on the deck. Overall, a positive location but would have appreciated a bit of disclosure on the level of active construction.

Ocean Shores Getaway

Very clean and tidy property! We even had a cute deer wander next to the bedroom window. My only disappointment was more my fault than anything. I thought the property was closer to the beach and downtown Ocean Shores. It's not that far, but I was planning to walk everywhere.
