Best stay ever!!

We wanted a family weekend getaway in OIB. This house hit on everything we were looking for in location, amenities, and a reasonable price. The place was spotless, the check-in was simple. We'll definitely stay here again.

We just finished up a great week at a ‘wave from it all.’ The home is beautiful and accommodated our family of 13 perfectly! The beach was a short walk and we enjoyed access to the neighborhood pool as well. The outdoor space was a big hit for adults and kids alike.

Great Labor Day stay

My family had a great time over Labor Day weekend. This house was perfect and was very close to the beach and public access. I will be staying here again in the future!

Beautiful property and great location!

This was a wonderful house with plenty of space for our entire family and a fun backyard! We loved how close the house was to town and the beach and Kristy was great with communication.

Great property!

The location was great with the beach close by. The house was warm and welcoming. We loved how detailed and organized the owner was to ensure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the complementary cornhole set and ping-pong table. It was an amazing stay!

I give this house a 5 stars all around. The inside of the house was beautiful and clean just like the pictures. There was more than enough space for my family of 8. We enjoyed the mini golf and grill area. The property provided everything you needed for the beach and bikes were a plus. We really enjoyed this house and will be back next season to stay with Kristy!

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

A Wave From It All OIB was a fantastic home. The accommodations were just right for the twelve us. It was very clean, modern, and spacious. The description of the property was spot on… and the host, Kristy, was great! I plan to stay again, and would recommend this property to others!

Amazing house!

Everything about this house was perfect! All the beds were so comfortable, furnishing were top notch, the outdoor space was awesome for adults and children, and it was just a short walk to beach and pool! We have been vacationing to ocean isle beach for the past several years and this was by far the best house we have stayed! The owners were more than accommodating, we will definitely be back!

Best week ever!

Property was clean and felt like home away from home. The bedrooms are separated so you can get away, but great living room area for all of us to hang out. It is in a great location to beach and downtown Ocean Isle. Owners responded quickly to questions. We highly recommend this property!

A Great Time of Fun, Family, and Rest at A Wave From It All! My family and I had a wonderful time at A Wave From It All. The house is great. There was room for everyone. The beach is only a few steps away. The neighbors were nice. There is even a Corn Hole Set for those who love some good old competition. This was my second time this year staying here. I highly recommend this home. The owners are super helpful and very nice. I will definitely look to stay here again!

Fantastic OIB rental

This was our first time staying on OIB! The house was clean, the bedrooms were a great size, the kitchen was well appointed, & the view from the crow’s nest was spectacular. Hope to get back soon.

Home away from home!!!

Remarkable home in great location. Every detail was thought of. Best mattress I have ever slept on traveling. It’s the little things that make this a terrific vacation spot. Bikes chairs games putting green and more. Highly recommend!!!

14 family members ranging from 6 to 67

Very spacious house. There was 14 of us staying at the house for a week with plenty of space to move around and play games. The walking to the beach was quick and easy. We enjoyed the putting green (we actually had a putting tournament), corn hole, ping pong, and cards. Lots of parking, a great bar area and the crows nest was fun search the area with binoculars. The host was very quick to reply with any questions before, during and after our stay. I would definitely go back and stay.

A Perfect Family Getaway!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 **A Perfect Family Getaway!** We just returned from an incredible stay at *A Wave From It All*, and we’re already talking about when we can come back! The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun family vacation — and with four kids under 5, that’s saying something! No need to bring anything but your beach towels! The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked for families. The outdoor space was a highlight — spacious, safe, and enjoyable for all ages. Whether we were grilling, putting on the green, or relaxing in the covered porch, there was something for everyone. The walk to the beach and pool was quick and easy, which made it so convenient with little ones. We felt like we had the best of both worlds: close to all the fun, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. Truly a fantastic experience — we highly recommend *A Wave From It All* to anyone looking for a stress-free family beach vacation!

A Wave From it All OIB a fantastic home!

Our family of 12 does an annual beach trip and we're always looking for great beaches to vacation at and A Wave From It All OIB is fantastic! The home is impeccable, well kept, situated in a cute neighborhood directly across from the beach- the house is outfitted with everything you need, including a washer/dryer, and stocked with supplies you might need for the week. There's a Keurig that got a work out from our crew, and we were greeted by a lovely welcome basket filled with "things you might need" the backyard w/the putting green and table tennis along with the cute outdoor TV/Bar area were a big hit with our gang as was the community pool, the star of the show was the beach, and we had a great week of beach time- not one rain day! OIB is a fun beach town, low-key and family focused and there was plenty to do off the beach, and we did it all, including a big family photo session at sunset, a dolphin cruise, and the guys did a 1/2 fishing excursion (a little shark was caught!) the hosts have a book of restaurants and things to do in the area, we did breakfast and multiple dinners in Calabash, Shallotte and North Myrtle Beach, SC (SC is a short drive from OIB) We're already making plans for next year. 10/10 highly recommend. Kristy and Alex are excellent hosts, your family will have the best time!

Beautiful, exposed and quiet

Property fully equipped, supplied for beach fun and meal time. The corner lot is not ideal if you are there to have a good time. Very exposed to everyone walking by, day and night. Hard to keep music within the fence so 10pm noise ordinance was stressful ($1000 fine) Thankful to avoid it. Multiple calls from owner based on neighbors counting the number of individuals they saw or judgment about your time at the rental, added to stress. Trash will not be picked up if lid doesn't completely close and recycle cannot be bagged must be loose in bin or will not be picked up. Fully inspect house upon arrival and take pics incase needed upon departure. It is a beautiful house though.

PERFECT!!!! Everything was above and beyond expectations!!!!

This is the PERFECT Beach house. It is absolutely 100% user-friendly. Everything is modern and new. It has a very open living room and kitchen area so it is great for entertaining or having family get togethers. Each bedroom has its very own full bathroom, which makes it so convenient. You will be absolutely amazed with how large the rooms are. There is no cramped up feeling anywhere in this entire house. Parking underneath the house more than adequate. There is at least room for four cars and probably six which makes things so much easier carrying stuff in and out especially if it’s raining. Look no further, and feel very fortunate if this is a vacation home, you choose to stay in. The owners are exceptionally professional and polite. If you have a question, they will respond back to you within a matter of minutes. Thanks again for having my family and I look forward to doing business with you again.!!!! PERFECT BEACH RETREAT!!!!!

The most beautiful getaway for a family vacation

Our family has been coming to this area for years and this is by far the best home we’ve stayed in! The place was impeccable upon check in. There was a cute welcome gift on the table and even more “extras” than we knew including things like beach chairs, beach wagon, boogie boards etc. This makes it so much easier when you are flying in and don’t have room to bring all of those items. Even the storage area was organized and clean. The back yard is heaven for all ages! With a putting green, bags, ping pong and more there was something for everyone! Each room has its own bathroom which makes these so much easier when you are traveling with extended family. The bunk room was a huge hit for the 4 kids and was even stocked with games perfect for their ages! Kristy was so easy to contact with questions and checked in on us multiple times. The kids loved to be able to ride bikes around the circle there. The location is perfect because it’s easy to bike to downtown, walk across the street to the beach or to the shared pool. Some of our family was staying in a nearby house with a pool so we didn’t use the shared one but it looked like a nice setup for a change of scenery from the beach. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. It felt like home for the week and we hope to be back soon!
