  • Welcome to Castaway The Day! We're back! We have done some exciting updates during our 18 month hiatus, that have been recently completed and new for the 2026 season! New flooring throughout the entire unit, updated kitchen with new white cabinetry, Marble countertops, backsplash, new faucets, updated lighting, and new kitchen appliances. We also spruced up each of the bedrooms with new bedroom furniture and fresh new bedding! Each bathroom has also had new mirrors, lighting, and faucets added. The unit has been recently given a fresh coat of paint from top to bottom and several old windows have been replaced.

    Sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on our new patio furniture! The sea breeze on the ocean-facing balcony with new outdoor furniture or take the shortest walk to the oceanfront pool, beach access and tiki bar! Located on the quiet, upscale west end of Ocean Isle Beach. The complex is part of Islander Villas, one of the newer accommodations on the island. Each building includes 6 Villas and an elevator. Our Villa includes access to a large oceanfront pool at the Isles Beach Club. There are balconies located in the front and back of the Villa.
    One of the biggest advantages of our Villa is that it is the closest Villa in the entire Islander Resort to the oceanfront pool, Tiki Bar and La Volte restaurant at the Isles Beach Club.
    This spacious 1,700 sqft Villa features 4 well-appointed bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and 9ft ceilings throughout. With plenty of room to sleep 12, our Villa includes 2 king, 2 queens and 2 full beds. The Master Bedroom includes one king bed. The attached master bath includes dual vanity sinks with a jetted tub/shower combo. The second master bedroom includes one king bed, a mini-fridge and a bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Bedroom 3 includes one queen, one full bed and a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 4 has one queen bed and one full bed with an attached bathroom with shower.

    We have made some significant upgrades within the Villa including:
    New stainless refrigerator
    New stainless microwave
    New stainless stove

Fantastic place to stay

This was just a perfect place to stay. The owners were prompt responding and very nice when doing so. The beds were comfortable and a bathroom for each bedroom. Just an all around great place!

Perfect for family gathering

Relaxing time

The condo was great for our family of 8 adults, plenty of room. The unit was well stocked, very nice, linens included and a short walk to the beach. The area was quiet. The elevator was a definite plus!

5 Star Property

This place has it all! Excellent location! It's close to the beach club and pool as well as two beach access points. We loved the four bedrooms with the four bathrooms so everyone had their own space. Fully equipped kitchen and overall very well stocked condo. We loved having the use of beach chairs and umbrellas and played lots of bocce ball. Excellent place to stay at OIB!

Even with Hurricane Debby we still had a great time. Communication with owners was great. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because there was a lot of dust on ceiling fans in bedrooms and lamp shades.

Beautiful Place

Beautiful place on first floor of the condo! Access to a huge pool and two different easy access to the beach within walking distance. Golf cart charging under the condos was very convenient. Condo had everything your normal home has which made for a very easy stay! Owner was very responsive to any questions!! Great place to stay!!

Highly recommend!!! Overall our stay was great. Property is well stocked inside & out and in a Great Location. The electrical upgrade to charge golf carts was much appreciated. Beds are comfy. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. Floors could use a good once over inbetween rentals but considering the traffic it gets….☺️ OIB never disappoints 🌞🌴🌞🌴

Great place year after year

This was our 4th or 5th annual stay at this property. It is very nice. There were a few minor bumps for the first time, but the owner helped quickly with each: door code did not work until he reset it, a shower door fell off but he sent a repair man, linen service provided wrong sheets on two beds but quickly replaced them.

Family Comfort

Our family has stayed here several times now so we obviously love it. Always happy with our stay and with the owners. Having the elevator has always been a plus getting or things in and out. This trip I broke my foot our first night here so I was really happy we were here and no I didn’t break it in the condo. Great open floor plan and one level allowed for some quality family time. Thanks!

Ladies getaway

This was our second year at this rental. We had 10 ladies from our church who enjoyed the unit and asking about it next year. Kitchen equipped with all our needs. Beds very comfy. We love the quite area. Recommend for large groups of 10+
