Beautiful OIB Condo- 1 Min. Walk to Beach; includes Pools, Tennis Courts, Extras

Beautiful and serene three bedroom, two bath condo with easy walk to beach! This condo has a lot of extras like beach chairs and wagon, beach/pool/grass toys, beach umbrella, tennis rackets and balls. One of three community pools is right beside the building and there are three tennis courts nearby. There is also a private oceanfront pool and beach access for Starboard owners and guests that is an easy walk from the condo.

The family room and dining area are centrally located around three bedrooms, two full baths and the kitchen. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom; the second bathroom is accessible from the bedroom with two double beds and the hall. There is a large outdoor deck with chairs that overlook the pool and tennis courts. There is a back balcony that overlooks the large, open field.

The building is situated near a lagoon and has a large open field where kids can play, and parents can keep an eye on them from the condo's back balcony. The condo is on the second (top) floor so there's no noise from above.

The condo, while in a quiet community, is less than a mile from the hustle and bustle of the center of the island where the concerts, restaurants and shops, park and pier are located.

There are two assigned parking spaces under the building with an overflow lot beside the building for additional vehicles.

If you wish to rent a golf cart you must plug it directly into the outlet under the building. No extension cords are allowed. It must be parked in a parking space, not on the grass or other location.

Please remember to bring sheets and bath, beach and kitchen towels!

It was very quaint, an older unit but upgrades are perfect. It has everything anyone needs. It is furnished very cozy and beachy. It rained the entire time but it was so relaxing, we didn’t mind. It is on the 3rd level but we didn’t mind that at all, we like the steps! Would highly recommend.

This condo was perfect for our get away! My sister and I took our 3 boys (9, 6 and 2) and we couldn’t have asked for a better set up. Plenty of space, decor was light and airy. As a Mom, loved all the hooks for hanging towels, bathing suits, etc. pump soap at every sink (it’s the little things!) and the fans in closet were much appreciated. The complex itself was quiet and we felt very safe. The walk to the pool/beach was a breeze with the wagon and loved that all beach equipment was included in the price. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

If you are looking for a relaxing location that offers more than the beach, look here. You are close to the beach, have access to pools and tennis courts and an easy walk to the pier or putt-putt. Lots of fun and great walks were had by all on our trip.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Every thing as listed in description was on point. Very family friendly, lots of games and puzzles for kids. We actually donated the one we brought with us. Close walk to beach and pool. Lots of beach supplies in closet downstairs to use but we brought our own because most rentals don’t have adequate stuff. This one did! We got to see a family of deer who made their way down to the beach every evening. Sunsets at the back of the property were gorgeous. Host was very responsive when we had a question. Will definitely stay here again!

Family Beach Getaway

We loved staying in this condo. Proximity to the beach was great and the condo amenities were an added plus. The house was clean and decorated tastefully. Depending on how we felt, walking or driving to OIB central was an option. We attended the Market/vendor event which had quite an array of vendors there. We did not leave empty handed and were able to walk back with our purchases. Even though we were here in peak season, it never felt too crowded. The blend of owners and renters allows for a much more relaxing visit. Would highly recommend and hope to be back.

Brief, but lovely stay!

Lovely condo in a beautiful location! This home was clean and comfortable and a quick walk to the beach. Multiple amenities and my only complaint there was that we couldn't stay long enough to take advantage of them. There is a helpful binder of home and location information, and many menus of local restaurants. There are a couple of flights of stairs to navigate to get to the condo and that may make a difference to those with limited mobility. No sheets or towels are provided which made it challenging when flying to this destination. The owner was quick to communicate and answer questions, and there was plenty of information regarding procedures and parking. Definitely would recommend!

We had a very enjoyable experience with the condo. Everything was neat, clean and in good condition. Stephanie, the host, was very responsive when we had to notify her. The beach supplies were a great bonus. The closest downstairs had beach chairs, a few boogie boards, sand toys and the wagon to haul all our things was great. Perfect Family Vacation Spot

Adorable condo with awesome location. Short walk to the beach and inter coastal waterway. Perfect bed configuration, especially the kids bunk room. Stephanie provided excellent communication throughout the entire process. Will definitely be back!

Two nights, no sheets

The property was very nice and clean. The only thing is that sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and kitchen towels were not provided. We were expected to bring our own or get from a Linen Service, which would have been an added expense. There was a sentence in the instructions about this, but I missed it. There was no mention in the instructions about the cost of this linen service. It was not (in my opinion) adequately highlighted. It seems like a fairly normal thing to expect linens to be included. Or at the least, a underline, or highlight, or color. Something that would bring attention to this rather important necessity. We made due, as we were only staying two nights. The other thing is the front door lock. We had instructions about opening the lock. After you input code numbers, you have to place your finger on the fingerprint circle on the bottom of the keypad. We placed our finger on there too short a time at first. Then we held it on too long. We figured out to hold it for the count of 3 and took it off. That worked. It was a struggle getting that lock to work. Other than these two problems, it was a great place.

Everything is so lovely. The kids loved the board games! We messed up and didn't empty the dishwasher, just ran it! So sorry! Wish we had planned for more days here, it is amazing.

OIB Starboard condo

Property was clean and as described. Kitchen had everything you need. Short walk to the beach. Pool was out the front door and another pool on the beach. Will stay again when we return to our happy place … Ocean Isle Beach.

Fantastic location in high ammeters quiet neighborhood

We have been coming to OIB since 2010 and this was one of our best stays. Condo easily slept 9 - in a quiet neighborhood so slept very well. Bathrooms are updated with plenty of hooks and space. Living room well situated for movie night. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and basic oil and salt and pepper. Plenty of plates and serving utensils to serve two meals without running the DW. Storage closet on ground level has two bikes and wait for it a SHIBUMI!!! 5 min easy walk to the beach. Pool right next to condo. Overflow lot with four spaces if you have more than two cars. Will stay here again - Jennifer was responsive with all of our questions!!!
