New to the rental market 2021 season, this beautiful, historic Victorian is just one block from the beach. It is a fully modern home with 5 bedrooms (4 kings and 1 queen) and 3 full and 2 half baths. Renovated with a gourmet kitchen and a large 2nd floor family room, the home keeps all of the charm that make Ocean Grove homes so wonderful. It’s the perfect place for a summer vacation with family and friends at the beach. Wrap around porches on the first and second floors with views of the ocean creates plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time together. Morning coffee watching the sunrise over the Atlantic or an evening beverage while you enjoy the delightful ocean breeze. The home is laid out with front parlor, dining room and large bright eat-in-kitchen on the first floor. Large family room with TV and wet bar plus two large bedrooms and one full and one half baths on second floor. The third floor has a master bedroom with private/en-suite bath and two full walls of windows facing the ocean plus two large bedrooms, full bath and laundry. This home is set up to sleep 10 and has plenty of room for your friends and family to spread out and enjoy an amazing holiday.

This was the 3rd time we stayed at Beach Haven—we love it so much that we have booked again for next season! It is just perfect for our family—large bedrooms, lots of baths, a kitchen to die for, decks to sit on, and so convenient to the beach we love to sit on! Couldn’t ask for more!

Wonderful!!!!!! From the easy check-in ,to the well appointed kitchen we wanted to stay 2 more weeks. The house was lovely and immaculate and the bedrooms were large and spacious. The entire family agreed it was a perfect week. After the little ones were asleep you could find the adults on the second floor porch overlooking the ocean. The location allowed us to get the beach quickly as it is only one block away. This home is a real gem in the quiet community of Ocean Grove and we are all hoping to get back there soon.

This is our third year staying at this property! It is a must book. 1 block from the beach, clean, well equipped and creatively decorated. It is walking distance to dinner and icecream and spacious for a large family. The property manager is quickly responsive - we love this house.

Excellent Vintage Home -- Completely Updated

This classic 1888 home was so convenient to everything! We parked our car the first day, and then walked or biked to everything for the entire week. One block down Embury is the main entrance to the beach. The house is equipped with beach chairs and towels AND a wagon which made it so easy! The kitchen is outstanding with all new appliances (some are so new that they are challenging to figure out). The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. Throughout the house is interesting art, classic light fixtures, and antique pieces which blend well with the period of this home. We walked the boardwalk several times to Asbury Park for some restaurants, shopping, and the arcade for the kids. The kids loved using their scooters on the boardwalk. Just 3 blocks away is Main Ave and "Ocean Grove Downtown". Days Creamery and SeaGlass were our favorites. We also walked to the town of Asbury Park which had MANY great restaurants. The history of this town sets it apart from any other town on the Jersey Shore. We did the Wednesday Historic Walking tour to find out even more. Our favorite place was the 2nd floor porch with views of the ocean. We had Happy Hour there every night! The kids loved the 2nd floor TV/Play room with the Foosball Table and TV.

Fantastic week❣️

This beautiful historic home fits our family so well! Love that the kitchen has extra refrigerator drawers and ice maker! We cook a lot and love the space! The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds so comfortable! Favorite part of the house is the 2nd floor porch where we gather after dinner! This was our second year in this home and we hope to get back next year! It is perfect❣️

Perfect in every way

Our second stay at Beachaven was just as memorable as the first. This lovely Victorian is perfect for family beach vacations with our teenage and adult children and is only a short block from the beach and boardwalk. The house is clean and beautiful inside and out, the kitchen is modern with every amenity you could ask for to cook gourmet meals. We enjoyed many fun meals and game nights around the large dining room table. There’s also a nice, sunny breakfast nook in the kitchen and bar chairs around the kitchen island for breakfast and lunch. The five bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room provide an extra breeze, and the AC was refreshing after a hot day at the beach. The family room and porches are great gathering areas with views of the ocean and the corner lot allows full enjoyment of the ocean breezes. The primary room also has lots of windows with an ocean view. And, when needed, there is a nice office area in the large, primary suite. The bathrooms are modern, well-appointed and the water pressure is fantastic. The decor is inviting and comfortable and the house had everything we needed for a luxurious beach vacation. We hope to stay there again on future visits to Ocean Grove.

Amazing time at the beach!

We had a three-generation family of 10 stay in Ocean Grove for a week and we took advantage of every aspect of the house. We’ve spent much time in OG and it is truly rare to have such a beautiful old house that is fully upgraded - AC, modern kitchen and bathrooms - and as spacious. The location can’t be beat - one block from the beach, two blocks from Main Street with a beautiful view of the ocean and other flower-lined yards down the street. Everyone loved the big kitchen, plus a dining table large enough to accommodate all of us and then some. We spent ample hours in the afternoon on the porches, enjoying the breeze and quiet. Every bed was comfortable, bathroom convenient, kitchen cabinet stocked. And plenty of beach gear! Thanks for a great stay. We’ll be back!

Great house

This was my family's second stay and it was great. The house is large enough and has enough large common spaces for a huge group to spread out and have some privacy. We LOVE the two large porches and how much fridge space there is here. One downside was that the grill feels small, like a camp / tail gate kind of grill and wasn't cleaned well in between renters. Luckily the stovetop / oven is large so it didn't hinder us at all.

Great days in Ocean Grove

My wife and I and our four children two daughter in laws and two grand children had a wonderful time celebrating four birthdays. The house is beautiful with a kitchen and dining room able to accommodate the ten of us. The location close to beach was great for the two year old grand children. Our stay exceeded our expectations.

Best VRBO I have ever rented!

Five stars are not enough to rate this property !!! I have stayed in many VRBOs over the years and this was by far the best I have rented. Seven of us who have been friends for over 40 years were getting together in the area for a wedding of one of our sons. It was an awesome place to hang out in between all the events. If it hadn't rained we could have enjoyed the beach and the boardwalk a ton more, they are great spots to stretch your legs or enjoy the sunshine. But what shone the most was the attention to detail that was put into preparing this home to be a rental as well as the obvious caring renovations that were done. Most rentals leave you a little bit of this and a little bit of that. This kitchen was phenomenally stocked with enough for more than eight people, every bathroom had at least two rolls of toilet paper in it. That sounds like a small thing, but it is not when you arrive late in the evening. Shampoos and soaps were provided, the towels were all in great shape as well as the bedding. There was a vacuum on every floor, the light switches were all labeled, there were instructions setting the HVAC, about what to do with the trash, and for departure. There were spare batteries for the clocks and remote controls...I could go on and on. And the two times we reached out to the owner with questions we received prompt responses to assist us with what we needed. If we are vacationing together again in this area we would definitely try to book this property again.

What A treat to be able to stay in this lovely home. It’s a block from the beach has many beautiful places to sit and chat or read a book. Every bedroom is large, beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. Janet and her team are very communicative and easy to deal with. I can’t wait to get back there sometime soon.

A great family gathering!

Our family rented this house for a long weekend in order to be together for a memorial service. We all traveled from outside of NJ and we were so happy with the accommodations and our host was excellent with communications. The house is beautiful. It was super clean and spacious for all the adults in the house. The kitchen is top notch with updated appliances and all the equipment you would need. There was plenty of comfortable places to relax and spend time together. Even though we rented in late October we had beautiful weather and took advantage of the 2nd floor porch that had great views. The house is one block from a beautiful beach with a boardwalk that we walked on every day. This is a fabulous house and a fantastic location and I would rent this again in a second.

Amazing House and Location

We have rented many houses in Ocean Grove through the years. This is, by far, our best experience. The house was very clean and the location was great!! The house was very well maintained and everything was in working order! There were times when renting other houses that we had to make repairs to things or change light bulbs, etc. everything was well taken care of. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable!! We would definitely recommend this rental to family and friends!! Really liked the cooler drawers in the kitchen for drinks, freeing up space in the refrigerator!

Absolutely terrific

This is the second time we’re staying here, and it was—like last time—an 11 out of 10. The property is beautiful, the walk to the beach is nothing, and the porch and balcony are the perfect Ocean Grove charm we come for. There is plenty of space for kids to play, bedrooms and showers galore (not waiting your turn for a shower after a long day at the beach is a total plus), and the master bedroom is one of a kind. The house is clean and updated, but it is still very homey and has tons of character—beachy but with Victorian charm. The property manager is available at the drop of a hat if you need anything, but he is totally out of your way so you feel totally comfortable to go about your business. Can’t say enough!!!

Family Vacation

This property is in a great location 2 blocks from the beach and a block over from main street. Bedrooms were cozy and spacious, you could see the ocean from the top porch. The kitchen was so well equipped for cooking dinner each night. Linens and towels were well stocked. They had lots of chairs/ extra beach towels and a wagon to pull down to the beach. I highly recommend this property to for family vacations, couples trips etc. Thanks for a great stay!
