My daughter and I stay there for my birthday weekend on Labor Day weekend. The condo was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and so was the couch. The only complaint I have is that when there’s someone upstairs you can hear every move that they make. However, we just turned up our sound machines and we were fine. Really liked the location that you could walk down and get coffee close to restaurants.

Needs cleaned

The location was great and we enjoyed our time at Deep Creek. However, the accommodations did not feel clean. High traffic areas were wiped down and clean, but there were thick layers of dust on blinds, around doors and windows, as well as some receipts and personal items left behind from previous guests. Sheets and towels seemed clean, but the other items made the place feel dirty. The lack of decoration made the space seem a little cold and uninviting. It is a small place that could quickly and easily be cleaned and a couple of warm and inviting decorations could make the guest experience much more enjoyable.

Great little place for a short vacation!

Very clean. Great location and view of the lake. Loved having a fire pit and grill. Hosts were very communicative. Note that one of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other one now has a bunk bed (twin on top, double on bottom). Would definitely stay here again!

Needs attention

This property is nicely located mid lake so you can reach a lot of places easily, but badly needs attention. It has 3 front facing windows that could provide a great view of the lake but they were covered in dirt/ film and one screen completely obscured things. There was only one dinner plate to eat with ( plus a few salad plates), and the rest of the kitchen and dishware was scant. The screen door was broken ( reported) and all the appliances appeared to be original, circa 1980s maybe ( or earlier even?) The beds we’re comfortable however, and the unit was fine for my husband and I. It would be fine too far a small family with young children, but more than 2 adults would be challenging with space. Also while the central location was nice it did make it very loud being on the main highway with lots of car and boat traffic.

lake view condo

Cute for 2 people, but if you have trouble with steps look for a different location. Bed in main bedroom was VERY tall off the ground and hard to get into for a 5 foot tall woman. Clean property, but although sleeps 6 is stated in rental, it was comfortable for myself and my friend on our girls weekend. Give local restaurant Black Bear Tavern a 5 star rating also. EXCELLENT service, selection, food was amazing and entertainment was spot on for what we were looking for. Location nearby lake/marina area was very relaxing, but could get insanely busy during peak season. Parking is a little bit of a challenge to manipulate for this location and quite limited. The location was perfect for what we were looking for, but we joked frequently about needing a step ladder to get into the bed. (I didn't think 5 feet was short, but in this location, it sure proved to be.) Pleasant stay; binder in condo was helpful for local business directory and local events.

Extremely small.

Overall the location was great. There’s no way we would have been comfortable staying inside longer than 3 hours besides sleeping. There was no room in each room for our bags, we had to leave them in the kitchen. I couldn’t even get to the other side of the bed being 20 weeks pregnant. Although my teenage son had the same problem, it was like sleeping in a closet. The view was pretty but that’s about it. The outlets need to be changed, nothing stayed in the outlet without falling out or working. Ceiling lights were broken above the bed. Things definitely need to be replaced and updated. Our code that was sent for check in didn’t even work upon arrival and after getting in late and. Having no outside lights on two flights of stairs was extremely unsafe. It wouldn’t cost much to add that to help your guests. I would not stay there again it’s not safe.

Great location but definitely should not have listed for 6. We couldn’t get in with the code nor the second code. There are ants in the living quarters and one bedroom has no A/C. Very disappointed for what we paid for it.

Several 2021 reviews complained about keyless entry, screen and front door not closing secure, the electric sockets were loose. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to see that these issues had not been corrected.

Quick Deep Creek Visit

Great stay in a great location. Unit was very clean on check in and well appointed. Only issue was with being able to lock the door with the keypad once inside, but this may have been due to some new weatherstripping on the door. Would highly recommend this unit for a future stay.

Beautiful location

The place was in a perfect location right access the street from the lake. Beautiful views. Lots of quaint little shops and restaurants nearby. Our favorite was Black Bear Wine and Words. Our only complaint was the stairs going up to our place were not well lit. It was difficult to find at first because they said it was on the lower level. It was not. You have to go up out door stairs with no lights. Add some big lights outside and it would be perfect!

Bedding was dirty had to change it. Floor was also dirty. Coffee maker leaked. Couldn’t make any coffee. It had a nice swing and had a lofty feel. View was great. Could see the lake clearly. The bed was comfortable. Shower was clean. All the dishes and silverware were clean.

A nice place for a quick trip

I personally enjoyed the low key vintage lake house vibes the condo had. A great location with pizzeria and coffee shop in walking distance and a view of the lake! It is very small but great for a small group! The only critique I would have is that the power outlets were barely functional. Cords falling out left and right and half of them didn’t work to begin with! The front screen door was creaky (a tad irritating) and very difficult to close as well making it very easy to unlock. Windows are also very difficult to shut and open. Otherwise it was a nice place to stay for a quick trip.

Newly decorated, needs mechanical improvement

Property was clean, and nicely decorated but had some issues. Most of the power receptacles would not hold a plug, so you couldn't charge phones or use appliances. Landscaping by fire pit was full of weeds, high enough to hit you legs when sitting in the chairs. No central A/C, only two room units (back bedroom had ceiling fan only). Washing machine would shoot the drain hose out of the wall, soaking the floor, and didn't spin all of the water out of the laundry.

This property was not clean by all means. Sheets had stains. Shower had hair. Pots and pans were dirty. Hair all over a random blanket. No air ventilation. Seriously felt I was going to have an anxiety attack.Horrible experience for the price I paid.

Great Location, Cozy Spot

Enjoyed our stay. Great access to Wisp and Deep Creek shops/restaurants. Beautiful view of the lake. It's TINY as the photos suggest (one bedroom is all bed and that's it, pretty much), but worked just fine for our small family and young children. Warning the floors / walls are very thin so you can hear neighbors footsteps, tv noise etc. during late/early hours. Overall a cute place. Oh and ask about the entry code! The instructions we got were incorrect and it didn't make our arrival late at night , in the cold (with poor cell signal!) pleasant! Although Property Management were as helpful as they could be, my husband had to play around with the order of the code/entry a bit before we gained entry.
