Originally built in 1935 as one of the early cabins around Deep Creek Lake, this home still carries much of its original charm and character today. The owners carefully preserved elements of the original cabin while thoughtfully building and renovating around it, blending historic cabin charm with the comfort and style of a modern mountain retreat. It’s a place that feels warm, unique, and full of character the moment you walk in.

Nestled in a quiet wooded setting near Deep Creek Lake, the cabin offers the perfect balance of privacy and convenience. You’ll feel tucked away from the crowds while still being only about 15 minutes from Wisp Resort, local restaurants, shops, hiking trails, and lake activities.

Whether you’re visiting for a ski weekend, summer lake trip, romantic getaway, or simply a chance to slow down and recharge, this cabin was created to feel warm, inviting, and intentionally cozy year-round.

The cabin comfortably sleeps guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms:

The kitchen is extremely well stocked with the essentials you need for cooking meals, relaxing breakfasts, or cozy nights in.

One of our favorite parts of the home is the coffee setup — because mornings at the cabin should feel special.
