We stayed here three nights. In summary, you get what you pay for.
This is a very old hotel with old furniture and without elevators; so, if you have any physical limitations, make sure you stay in the first floor. The bed we had was very old and springs had a conversation all night, and had we not been tired from our outings, we would have had to listen to them. The towels were grubby and we avoided using them. (Thankfully, we brought our own). The pillows aspire to be pillows? We woke up with sore necks and had to take a hot shower to relieve the body aches. Did I mention the bathroom extractor fan made a medieval sound when one tried to turn it on?
Additionally, the AC is so noisy you have to negotiate between tolerating the temperature and sleep or be cool, and wide awake. If there’s inclement weather and your plans are averted, you’re stuck with basic cable via satellite with constant interruptions. The WiFi is also spotty and weak.
Okay. Having said all that: A positive I have to say, parking, while not covered, is readily accessible and available.
PS- Why did we stay here? Our original plans fell through and this sounded like a solid choice. Lesson learned.
