Yosemite Creekside Cottage Oakhurst - Bass Lake Pets OK

We are located 3 miles from Oakhurst, 11 miles from the south gate of Yosemite National Park, and 4 miles from popular Bass Lake. Perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city or just a stopover on the way to Yosemite.

Located on Lewis Creek at 3000' elevation offers cool summers and mild winters. Listen to the sound of the water from the year-around creek running through the rear of the property or enjoy sipping your evening wine watching the tranquil water flowing downstream. The quiet neighborhood has a private park just 1/2 block away with a waterfall and swimming hole great for children, either 2 or 4-legged, where they can safely experience nature. The accommodations are perfect for two. There is a large bathroom with a claw foot tub, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private patio with a BBQ. There are several restaurants in Oakhurst as well as dining at Bass Lake. You'll have complete access to Lewis Creek to enjoy during your leisure time. The house below is also a BnB. The two houses are completely separate from one another sharing nothing except the entrance to the driveway.

Wow! What a gem of a spot. It’s quaint but has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is a proper size—not just a kitchenette—and the bathroom is spacious as well. Every little detail felt so thoughtful, making the whole place incredibly cozy.The bed and pillows… goodness, I can’t say enough. So, so comfortable—I especially loved the pillows. After a long hike, the bathroom was a treat with bath bombs, shampoo, shower gel, and a great variety of amenities ready for use.The location is wonderful too. We loved that it was close to town, yet felt tucked away in nature. The creek behind the house is beautiful—just don’t forget bug spray because the mosquitoes were out in full force. One magical touch was seeing deer at night before entering the property, which made it feel extra special.Our host, Kadi/Luana, was absolutely wonderful—so welcoming, attentive, and thoughtful in every way. You can really feel the care that went into making this place comfortable for guests.The only minor downside was the driveway; our car is a low-rider, and if you don’t angle it right, it can scrape the bottom. But honestly, that’s such a small thing compared to how amazing everything else was.Overall, this place exceeded expectations—I’d return in a heartbeat!

What a great place to stay! The cabin is cozy. Everything about it was so nice. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living area, although small, was perfect for the two of us. The bed was soooo comfortable and the bathroom was spacious!
The creek had water running through it. I didn't have a chance to take my dog "Cooper" in for a dip though.
Bass lake is less than a 10 minute drive away.
There were deer walking through!

This place is really cute. The space has been appointed well. We found it easily with the information provided. We were greeted with delicious cookies and nice music playing. We had all that we needed to cook and bbq. The creek on the property is delightful!Parking was a little tight for a big truck but it did work.

Very tight quarters and a bit dusty; however the hosts were receptive to feedback. If you're bringing a pet, know that there is nowhere to walk them out to pee other than the driveway as it's on a street in which people speed down. The entrance to Yosemite is only 40 minutes so that is great! The Mexican place on the day back is good.

Great cozy cottage

Exactly as described. This cottage is great for anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay outside Yosemite. Kadi has great communication and offered to allow us to check in early! The nights were quiet. I will definitely want to come back for another stay.

Perfection

Such a great stay. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay feel like we were welcome. Upon arrival we had lit candles, spa music, ambiance fireplace, fresh flowers, fresh cookies and a welcome note! Everything was as advertised and we will definitely come to stay again when visiting nearby Yosemite.

Core memories - AMAZING creej

The cottage is exactly as described and photographed. Very clean and comfortable. The little patio was perfect to chill on and BBQ. Easy 30-ish min drive to the South Entrance of the Park.But the best part is the creek! Pictures don’t do it justice. Right in the backyard and lots of smooth, flat boulders to sunbathe on, but uniquely accommodating to hang out IN. There were several shallow and calm pools with sandy bottoms which was perfect for our 2 year old boxer to learn how to swim. The temperature was perfectly cool, and the water was so fresh. We had the best weekend! We will be back

Perfect

Loved this little cottage its was perfect for my husband and I and our little pup Zoey. There is everything you need to feel special and comfortable. The host was alway just a text away. Location is nice to take morning and evening walks. The drive to Yosemite is beautiful. We will definitely revisits again.

Cottage was beautiful, with everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable! A great place to stay while we explored Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. Felt like we were out in the forest, yet only a few minutes from the town of Oakhurst. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

Oakhurst Get-Away!

This is a charming and quaint home that feels like a tiny home. Everything you need is here and a great bed. We were met with fresh flowers and homemade baked cookies!

Perfect home away from home

We wanted something out of the city/town yet close enough to all of the area attractions and this was the perfect spot with all of the amenities that you might need. The creek beside the cabin was an amazingly, awesome and beautiful plus. We highly recommend this cabin for your vacation getaway!

Simply delightful!

We absolutely loved this darling cottage. It was perfect for the two of us. Host does an amazing job getting everything ready. We were greeted with flowers and delicious homemade cookies. We had to change the number of nights we visited and Katy and Luana were wonderful to deal with. It’s a gorgeous ride to Yosemite Valley from here but is a distance so be aware when planning.

Perfect Yosemite Stay

This was the perfect stay for our short break in Yosemite. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. The outside space was a bonus as we had great weather to use it. Our hosts were so accommodating and gave great information and support as well as some amazing freshly baked cookies. We would definitely stay again and recommend!
