Completed in 2020, Wait "N" Sea is a dog-friendly property (welcomes up to two dogs per reservation year-round and for off-season monthly rentals) with an elevator and handicap accessible bedrooms and bathroom. This home is prepared to accommodate all members of your party comfortably.

Best Location

This house is located 1 block from beach - a two minute walk. This was a great house and comfortably accommodated our crowd of 12. The elevator was so convenient for bringing up luggage and groceries. We really enjoyed having a bathroom in every bedroom. Also loved having all the balconies from most bedrooms & main living spaces of the house. I would definitely recommend this house for a large crowd.

Beautiful home and pool! Great proximity to beach access!

The home and property were very nice and perfect for our family of 16! Our only “complaints” would be the cleanliness and maintenance of the home. Some of the sheets were fairly threadbare and mattress covers needed washing/replacing. The pool was great and when needed pool company came out right away! This property would have been 5 stars if it were clean and better maintained.

Beautiful home, would come back

The only reason this property is not getting 5 stars is because the hot tub did not work the entire week we were there, even after 3 phone calls to the rental company and the pool company came out twice. Oak island accommodations was so nice because I had to call a few times with issues like the oven not working, not having a sweeper in the house, the can opener being broken, and the hot tub. Each time they were very polite and apologetic if something was not working. When we first arrived the cleaning company was still there because the people before us left the place an absolute mess. I think a lot of the things we ran into were because of that. All our other issues, even the oven we’re quickly resolved in 24 hours. Unfortunately the pool company they used that came out would look at the hot tub, would see the jets would turn on and walked away. The problem was with the temperature of the water and they did not stay to make sure it was resolved. It was cold all week long and that’s very disappointing. Other than that our stay was great and the owners of this home put in some very beautiful features and I would happily come back if I knew the hot tub issue was resolved. Our experience with oak island was so relaxing and the locals take pride in there town. It’s was great talking to locals in the restaurants, it’s a small town that may not have a ton of entertainment, but makes up with small town charm on the beach. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Place with great views

Everything was very nice except for the trash that was not taken out by the guests prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, it was overflowing with bugs and smell. I left an email for them to address the issue and nothing was done and we could only add to the overflow. Luckily we were not there long.

Beautiful beach - beautiful house

We had an amazing time celebrating a 60th birthday with our family. The house had plenty of room. It was very clean and well supplied. The beach was close and accessible. Nice to come back from the beach and use the pool and hot tub! Will definitely come back!

Big house, great location, responsive management

This super clean house was great for our group of 6 adults and 2 teens. The third floor kitchen and living area were perfect for all our cooking, game time and socializing. While everything wasn't perfectly ready for our arrival, Oak Island Accommodations immediately resolved any and every issue. Would definitely recommend.
